L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner, Silver

Love the product but hate the presentation. After opening the first 4 lines it's impossible to sharpen the pencil, I've tried so many different sharpeners always with the same result: the middle breaks apart and smudges all over the sharpener, the otter layer chips and it's a hazard to try to put it next to your eyeballs ever again....but those few lines at the beginning are perfection!!! I got the bronze and the color last all day. Really hope the presentation would change for a plastic twist pencil or something functional

I bought this pencil last week. Loved how it glided on. Then I needed to sharpen it. Impossible! Like other reviews- not doable. Plus the pencil will NOT advance so it's unusable. Total waste of money. I notice the response from L'Ordeal going back years to this repeated complaint is this concern will be passed on to the team for review. Time to fit it!

The 4 days of wear I got out of it was great … looked like it was just a “twist up”, but no… it's a sharpen. I own several sharpeners… this is a joke , never sharpens without sharp edges, even putting into the fridge as recommended it's never the same … Lets do better . Shame on me for trying something new … Not something I'd ever recommend

This was a total wates of my money. It will not move when I screw the bottom of the pencil. I have tried all the "tricks" recommended and it will not advance.

The good: This product has excellent pigmentation and the color itself is beautiful. It's a perfect neutral brown that is less harsh than black, for a more natural look. It really is waterproof. The bad and the ugly: I bought this pencil to tight-line my eyes as I like to go for a more natural look. This product is too goopy. I put it in the refrigerator overnight to see if the product would become a little firmer, while still being smooth enough to glide on my eyes without tugging. It did not harden and does not keep its point long enough to even line one eye. The application is messy and the product clumps and fails to blend seamlessly, and this is after diligently prepping my eye area. Not only is the application of this a product a terrible and frustrating experience, but the formula is also irritating to the eyes and overwhelmingly difficult to remove. L'Oreal has some wonderful products, but this one really is not one of them.

Wish I'd read reviews first and maybe could have saved money. Liked everything about it till it needed sharpening. Just won't work. I tried sharpeners, knife, razor. Every time I think im close tip breaks off. How are you suppose to sharpen it?

The eyeliner works great until you need to sharpen then it's useless have tried multiple ways to try to sharpen with no luck. This product should be better from Loreal.

No matter what they say, this is impossible to sharpen. It's a plastic case so it won't sharpen! It should be removed from the market!

I agree with others about the sharpening problem It is a waste of money when you cannot use but a minut amount of the pencil. I will not purchase again.

Just purchased this pencil on Tuesday, by today I needed to sharpen it. The pencil was destroyed by the sharper,and is now in the garbage. What a waste of money!
