As someone with terrible acne this is a true full coverage foundation. I get so many compliments on my make up “it's like your face has a filter on it” 100 % recommend this to anyone has red marks discoloration or acne! Would love to know what everyone is pairing this with!
If you like NARS soft matte, you'll love this. You do have to properly prep with it. The only thing that I don't like is that there is no clear numbering with undertone, so you have to go in blindly and HOPE that the undertone sets the way you want
I am 40 with combination skin that is sensitive and will break out with certain cosmetics. I am impressed with this foundation! I've been wearing and having fun with makeup for 30 years and have found many ride or die foundations only to have them be discontinued. When my favorite for 10+ years was discontinued last year, I tried even more foundations, mostly from luxury cosmetics brands. I have so many bottles of half used foundation— patchy, cakey, emphasizing texture, bad finish, not enough coverage, way too yellow, disappears off the face by hour 6, made me break out, and the list goes on. I tried this foundation after searching for top drugstore brands and knowing I like a matte finish. I was immediately impressed by the coverage. By hour 8, I was refreshed to see my makeup looked almost exactly like it did when I applied it. By hour 16, I knew we had found something good. I hoped it wouldn't make me break out or cause a reaction on my sensitive skin, and after multiple wears over the past 3 weeks, it hasn't! I'm thrilled. Give this foundation a chance if you like a matte finish and good, even coverage. Better than Dior in my humble opinion.
I have very light skin (almost translucent) and this is the only color and brand that matches my color. This foundation covers my blemishes very well.
So I bought this foundation a couple of days ago.. I have very flakey sensitive skin so I thought after reading the reviews this wasn't the right foundation for me. But I just tried this and omg!! This is the first foundation for me to not look cakey or flakey!! And it covers up my blemishes :) Love it and would recommend it to anyone with dry flakey skin!
I've been using this for about two months now, and I absolutely adore it. I had seen a lot of beauty vloggers who swore by it so I was a little wary that there was just a lot of hype. I am so happy that all the hype was well deserved. When I want a flawless matte finish to my foundation this is what I grab.
I have a very problematic skin, very oily with acne scars. I use airbrush foundation but I needed to find a good alternative when I'm on the go or not able to use my airbrush machine. I really did a profound research on the internet and finally decided to try this one since It seemed the right choice for my skin. I tried it today at home and so far FABULOUS !!!! I put my make up and checked in the mirror every 2 hours to see if there is a shine and break outs on my face. Here is the result: I put my foundation and It looked perfect in the mirror. After first 2 hours, It looked the same as the moment I put my make up, after 4 hours It was still looking really good, not really noticeable shine or oil but I just applied one blotting paper, after 6 hours still looking good (not perfect but really good). I'm very happy I found this product. If It worked for my skin It definitely will work for all others !!!! Just make sure you moisturize very good and use the right primer for your skin type prior to put this foundation....Thank you L'oreal !!!!
I have been using this for the past 2 years. Nothing compares! I have struggled with combination/very oil skin for over 15 years. I've tried everything from Mac, tarte, lancolm, urban decay, too faced, benefit, and all of the drug store brands along with many different primers. Nothing works or lasts as long as this does. I'm a RN and work long 12hr shifts, this stuff holds up for 16+ hrs and doesn't smudge at all. Sometimes I use blot tissues, but usually only once in 16hrs. Please don't ever discontinue this foundation!!!!!
I use this foundation daily. The coverage is perfect, has a natural looking finish and does not aggravate my acne. It takes quite a bit of product to cover though. It does not stay on for 24hours. I am on the road for about 15hours daily and when I get home, while the foundation is still there, the coverage quality fades and I can see dark marks. If you use salacylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or anything that dries your skin, it makes your skin look extremely dry and flakey from time to time. I use REVLON COLORSTAY FOUNDATION as well, which gives great coverage and I look perfect when I get home at night (really long lasting), but it aggregates my acne so I'll stick to L'Oreal foundation.
I went to search for a foundation with neutral undertones and this site is absolutely horrible. There is so little information of the color and undertones it's a joke. This website needs some major love. I can't believe this is a site from a reputable company that specialize in makeup. What joke.
