L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Foundation Makeup, 111 Soft Sable, 1 fl oz

As someone with terrible acne this is a true full coverage foundation. I get so many compliments on my make up “it's like your face has a filter on it” 100 % recommend this to anyone has red marks discoloration or acne! Would love to know what everyone is pairing this with!

I have very light skin (almost translucent) and this is the only color and brand that matches my color. This foundation covers my blemishes very well.

I am 40 with combination skin that is sensitive and will break out with certain cosmetics. I am impressed with this foundation! I've been wearing and having fun with makeup for 30 years and have found many ride or die foundations only to have them be discontinued. When my favorite for 10+ years was discontinued last year, I tried even more foundations, mostly from luxury cosmetics brands. I have so many bottles of half used foundation— patchy, cakey, emphasizing texture, bad finish, not enough coverage, way too yellow, disappears off the face by hour 6, made me break out, and the list goes on. I tried this foundation after searching for top drugstore brands and knowing I like a matte finish. I was immediately impressed by the coverage. By hour 8, I was refreshed to see my makeup looked almost exactly like it did when I applied it. By hour 16, I knew we had found something good. I hoped it wouldn't make me break out or cause a reaction on my sensitive skin, and after multiple wears over the past 3 weeks, it hasn't! I'm thrilled. Give this foundation a chance if you like a matte finish and good, even coverage. Better than Dior in my humble opinion.

I used to always use the Maybelline Fit Me + Poreless and decided to try L'Oreal's Infallible Pro Matte Foundation. BEST DECISION EVER. I use the shade 103 and it's great for my fall/winter skin while 104 is better for my summer skin. I have very oily skin and my pored are a little big. This foundation gives me great coverage! I apply it with a beauty blender (with L'Oreal's setting spray that is amazing as well) and it goes on easy. I can still highlight and contour as well. It doesn't Crack on me at all. I still recommend using a primer as well.

I stumbled upon this after a beauty blogger rated it as her all time favorite drug store foundation. I decided to give it a chance, and I am so thankful that I did. I'm 48, have some redness, hyperpigmentation, and skill that resembles an oil spill. I used Neutrogena gel cream moisturizer first, applied the foundation, and it went on perfectly. I decided to purchase the L'Oréal setting spray, which I also applied at 10:00 this morning. It is now midnight, and for the first time in my life, the tip of my nose still has all of the makeup on it, that I applied this morning. None of it has worn off, cracked or caked, not even in my smile lines. I have not blotted my face at all, not one single time. I am STUNNED! I have no idea what kind of magic went into this foundation, but I beg of you, to never stop making it. I have tried high end foundations that wore off, or slid off of my nose within a few hours. There aren't enough words of gratitude to express how amazing this foundation for me. Thank you for creating an exceptional product, at an extremely reasonable price point.

So I bought this foundation a couple of days ago.. I have very flakey sensitive skin so I thought after reading the reviews this wasn't the right foundation for me. But I just tried this and omg!! This is the first foundation for me to not look cakey or flakey!! And it covers up my blemishes :) Love it and would recommend it to anyone with dry flakey skin!

Not only does it mix well with an SPF for a dewy look but it also looks great on its own. However keep in mind if you have dry patches on your skin you want to make sure they're extra moisturized before applying this. If you have any imperfections it builds very easily! I have incredibly fair skin and the shade 101 works perfect on me. No added fragrance and doesn't make my sensitive skin break out.

I use this foundation daily. The coverage is perfect, has a natural looking finish and does not aggravate my acne. It takes quite a bit of product to cover though. It does not stay on for 24hours. I am on the road for about 15hours daily and when I get home, while the foundation is still there, the coverage quality fades and I can see dark marks. If you use salacylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or anything that dries your skin, it makes your skin look extremely dry and flakey from time to time. I use REVLON COLORSTAY FOUNDATION as well, which gives great coverage and I look perfect when I get home at night (really long lasting), but it aggregates my acne so I'll stick to L'Oreal foundation.

I've been buying this makeup for years and was so disappointed in the new formula and color change. The color I've been using for years was suddenly a shade lighter, but is labeled as the exact same color and brand. Very misleading to your loyal customers. The new formula feels caked on. Now I'm sadly on the search for a new makeup.

Glad I'm not the only one that noticed the HUGE difference in the formula!! Super dissatisfied that it changed when they went to the red packaging. Believe what everyone says, the new packaging is completely different than the black, Demi-matte. The shades are different and the foundation is thick and doesn't stay matte for me like the old formula. I used this for over 10 years it was my go to and the perfect shade ( I used 102/Shell Beige). Very depressing I now have to find another foundation that will not live up to Infallible's old formula I'm sure. Just beware of this when buying!
