L'Oreal Paris Matte Signature Waterproof Liquid Dip Eyeliner, Burgundy

Coming from someone who really does not have a sweet clue how to apply liquid eyeliner, "properly", because no matter how I apply it, how much I apply. use different techniques, I can NEVER get it right!! (Like, seriously-in all honesty, I had always thought I would never ever be able to properly apply it to be able to wear it nicely, even just once!?) From a winged eye to even the most simple little line on the top corners of the eyelids, I always mess them up, usually what happens is; I can NEVER get them to match, one is always bigger than the other, therefore I end up ALWAYS having to apply some eyeshadow over it & just go ahead & smoke them right out.. Every. Single. Time. BUT...... NOW; Thanks to L'Oreal's Matte Signature liquid dip in eyeliner, I'm actually able to do the little corners on my eyelids AND, even a small tiny winged eye!! Which ya'll, is HUGE for me, as you may be able to tell from reading lol. Easy, smooth glide-on application, effortless NO mess - I'm a Mom, so I really looove that part lol No gross scent. I find a lot of liquid eyeliners kinda smell funny lol Such a beautiful dark, black pigmentation Definitely recommend this to everyone & will continue to use this product for sure! I am super impressed with the precision and thin line that the liner provides. The applicator is extremely easy to use and there's enough product to last a while. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Matte Signature Liquid Dip Eyeliner because its precision is amazing, with a great texturised handle to give me a great grip so i can get closer to my eye line. The consistency is great not too liquidy or not to thick which makes it great and precise. The formula is fast drying so it does not move if you need to make your liner thicker. It is waterproof and last all day long but it is very easy to remove without having to wipe so hard on your skin. The tip is very thin and makes it easy to work with. The packaging is very cute and elegant, looks great in make up desk (:

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I liked the new Signature Matte eyeliner from L'Oreal a lot, and here's why. First, the whole entire thing screams luxury. The applicator is beautiful and has a luxe weight to it. I got to try the black shade and it was very lovely, it had a sponge tip that was super long lasting. I am impressed with how I was able to create a nice even line and a cat eye, without smudging. I love this eyeliner and get compliments now about my eye makeup which is nice. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this product free from TopBox to review. I don't always wear an eyeliner and even less do I wear liquid ones. However, this liner really impressed me. It had a nice fine felt tip, was easy to use and draw on a fine or thick line. It was very black and dried to a matte finish. It has a bottle design which I am not a big fan of as I find it hard to get the correct amount of product on the brush. It lasted for over 8 hours on me and I have very sensitive and watery eyes. It did not irritate my eyes at all. If you like liquid liners, I think you would find this to be a very nice product. #freeproduct #trywithtopbox

So... it does chip off. It has the smallest amount of shine. Not 100% matte. It is water proof. Tried it out on my hand and I've had it on my hand for approx 2 hrs and it's chipped within that Time. Not too happy with this liner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The L'Oreal Signature Matte Eyeliner started out perfect, but unfortunately just didn't have any staying power for even half a days worth of wear. Let's talk about the good first. I loved the tip of the liner, it was firm yet offered enough flexibility to apply easily. I was able to get extremely fine lines, and also able to build up thicker lines with ease. It was easy to get a nice precise wing. I loved the wand component- it felt comfortable and natural to hold, and the texture provided a slight grip to help me keep a good hold on it. I didn't experience any smudging which I was very surprised to see, as most liners smudge in the corner for me. It dried very quickly as well! Everything was going great and performing exactly how I want a liner to perform, until I actually started wearing it. Within 4 1/2 hours, it had already started flaking off in large amounts. My line no longer looked smooth and perfect, it looked jagged and half way gone. (I'd also like to note that I was inside the entire time I tested this, so there was no harsh environment to effect it.) 2 hours after that, you can barely tell I had on any liner at all. (Yes, that's less than 7 hour wear time!) Lastly, I did spritz water on my face to test the waterproof-ness and it didn't smudge with water sitting on top of it... but the second I wiped my finger across the drops of water, my line was 3/4ths of the way gone. That's just not what I expect out of a waterproof liner. All in all, it started out perfect, but at the end of the day (actually, only after 4 1/2 hours of the day...) it just didn't look good, was just flaking away, and just simply didn't have any staying power. For those reasons, I wouldn't purchase this again, and I wouldn't recommend to my friends.

I thought I had finally found the most perfect liner for lids and wings.... intense color, matte finish, very nice precision point. I tested it on my arm first, no smudging, even ran it under water, and it held up. The first few minutes after I completed my makeup, I was excited.... Ive been trying to find the best liner for my needs. Only a few hours later I noticed chunks of liner had flecked off the inner corners and I had to keep fixing my wings. After adding so many layers, it just gets clumpy, clumps into my lashes, and even hurts to remove the clumps. Decided to never wear it again, still looking for a good matte black dip-able, precise liquid liner... :( Pic is only about 2-1/2 hr. later and applied to clean lids then added shadow.
