L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Curved Brush Mascara, Black

The curved brush serves a purpose. Use it correctly and it will serve you well. I have thin, sparse lashes. No one believes me! Do not “pump” the tube! You are only adding more air inside which dries it out faster making it clumpy and flake off easily. This is not waterproof which is preferable for delicate lashes. I carefully wipe off any excess mascara from the brush (not completely, I simply do not need gobs weighing down my lashes) with a lint free, washable cloth. I do not start in the middle of my eye. I find it to be easier when working with a curved brush to start with either the inner or the outer corner. I always make to focus the few short strokes upwards and inwards (almost as if I'm aiming my lashes toward my nose). When there relax, they are perfectly curled and look full. If you have ever spoken with any beauty consultant, you'll feel that keeping this in the fridge (not your mini fridge) makes a huge difference. I keep mine standing up in a glass jar. One key advantage is that bacteria can form in it. However, if you have roommates, beware!

One of my favorite mascaras! Gives great body and length to my short lashes. Also separates them well and doesn't tend to clump till it's a bit on the old side.

I absolutely love this mascara! It does not feel heavy on my lashes. The applicator is soft and curved, which makes it easy to hit every lash. I have very sensitive eyes and I wear contacts and this product does not cause any irritation. I highly, highly recommend this product.

I used to use an oil based mascara and by the end of the day I looked like a raccoon. I discovered L'Oreal was water based and tried it. That was more than 20 years ago and I have been using it ever since. I was also impressed that I got full coverage with fewer strokes of the wand.

I remember this mascara being better years ago. Bought recently and I found it to be clumpy and messy. Maybe I got an old one?

This mascara stinks. That's a pleasant word for not good. I thought I had picked up waterproof and maybe I did it clumped on and it wouldn't come off at the end of the day even with mascara remover. I don't know if they had a bad batch or what but it was, bad on my eyelashes, thin them out badly

The new formula is TERRIBLE! I have been using this product for over 20 years! It has always been my favorite mascara! At first I thought it was a mistake and I got waterproof on accident, but it's not! The washable mascara does not wash off! It makes your eyelashes break within just a couple days of use! I am so upset!!!!

i ordered waterproof you brought non waterproof omg and for 9.00 i Will be exchanging guess i have to do it myself thanks for nothing
