Excellent family love reaffirming movie! I'm going to buy copies to give next Christmas as gifts so I can share its message with others.

Love this movie,very funny,touching,loving,a very sweet move,all the actors in this movie played a very good part,loved everyone in it,but Olivia Wilde stood out most to me,she was incredible!!

This is a good Holiday movie with an all star cast about a dysfunctional family who gets together during the holidays. There are some sad times, some good times and some very funny lines. I thought Olivia Wilde and her army boyfriend were the best part of the movie. This movie is definitely worth a watch and if you like holiday movies, you should get it for your collection.

In the beginning hard to follow....

This movie was funny in a couple of places . But that is about it

Just didn't care for it, not my type of movie thought it would be funny but it wasnt. Probably won't watch it again

Annoying & gross, even the physical beauty of the two single girls is submerged under one's scary wolf eyes & role lacking inner beauty, and the other (Amanda Seyfriend) a skilled actress who doesn't convince me of any heart despite her ability to fill her big baby blues with water. I enjoyed Diane Keaton in her prior Christmas film "The Family Stone," which this movie disappointingly fails to emulate. But here Diane looks a sad-faced cadaver clownishly paired with overweight John Goodman & his puckered sagging face however nice a guy he may be. The only features of this film I liked were the song at the opening credits, which I already own on the trendy hip young acapella group Pentatonix "That's Christmas To Me ~ Deluxe Edition" CD; and the film's closing credit outtakes of the actors singing more Christmas carols in the living room & playing a few musical instruments. Better Christmas films include "The Christmas Candle" with many known actors & singers including Susan Boyle; "The Ultimate Gift" with Abigail Breslin; "The Christmas Miracle" with Joely Richardson & Tom Berenger; "Christmas Hope" with Madeleine Stowe; "Homecoming" the Walton's pilot; and as much for adults as youths, Jim Henson's masterpiece he left for us "Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas." Merry Christmas :)
