we bought this to see how it compared to a kid thermometer, we found this to be far more accurate and matched the the sane temperature as the one at the hospital. i would highly recommend this to any one who needs to monitor the temperature of a child

For all those folks out there complaining about different temperatures. A rectal temperature, reads different from a forehead temperature and tympanic will also read different along with axillary. Thats why nurses and Drs need to calculate actual temp based on where the reading was obtained. There is a video of a mom taking a bunch of readings and nothing is the same. Readings taken through sweaty hair will be cooler because, sweat was designed to help cool the body down. infrared thermometers were designed to take temperatures of the skin. Not through hair, under clothes, etc. this thermometer is perfect for home use.

incredibly easy to use, it took less than a minute to put in the batteries and it worked immediately! my two grandkids six and eight were sick and it was incredibly hard to take their temperatures so for almost the same price as a thermometer I don't know why I waited so long it's incredible thank you!

This is a great product. Very accurate and easy to use. Some thermometers give a different temp every time but this one is pretty consistent. Plus it's simple. No trying to figure out the perfect spot or angle. I purchased 2 different ones because one got here a day before and this one is by far the better one.

This has been a game changer when it comes to quickly reading my kids temps we had the other one where you had to press it along before it all the way to the back of the ear and sometimes when you're dealing with the sick kiddo, they're just not willing to cooperate, but this measures temperature is really well and it's extremely easy

Very easy to use. Non-contact, easy read, and very accurate. Easy to store and easy to replace batteries. If you have kiddos it's no fuss. Great addition to the first aid kit.

It's really hard to use. I think it might be broken. We just got so fed up trying to get it to going. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It's really ridiculous. We've used infrared thermometers before on this one was the toughest to figure out we had to go on YouTube and still this one in particular wasn't working well.

This thermometer just doesn't work accurately. I would scan my forehead using this and then immediately take my temperature with a traditional mouth thermometer and the numbers were often very different from each other, sometimes but a while degree. Not worth any amount of money when I need an accurate temperature read.

this thermometer is garbage. the worst thermometer i have ever purchased. it is off by almost 5 degrees when compared to other thermometers. dont buy it.
