The rash guard will be perfect for my red headed daughter for a little more sun protection. The material is thick and well made. She's a 10 year old girl who's very tall and thin. We ordered a women's small. The guard looks very narrow to me- it fits her perfectly. I would think if a small woman had a larger chest it might be tight.

This runs a little small, which I had read, so I sized up to an XL when I usually wear a med/large. It fits great, the quality isn't too bad, not great, but not bad for the money %26 will work for our cruise.

I purchased the size I normally wear, however, this shirt is so very small I couldn't even get it on over my shoulders. Purchase at least 2 sizes larger than you normally would.

A size Large did not fit an extra small woman. It was wide and long enough to be a large but the armpits are sized for a 4 year old. A rash guard should be a perfect fit with no rubbing of fabric but digging up into your armpit where you can't put your arms down but with gapping fabric across the back is not a good fit. We read the reviews of the shirt running small so we bought large in case it was because of being kid sizes or something. It literally is just a bad pattern. Its to wide in the shoulders for a small, to wide and long in the torso for a small, yet armpits are so high and tiny it sized for a children's small. It was stated to be a women's large. The rash guard is cute but unwearable. Don't waste your time with this one.
