These are truly LG products and work perfectly in my frig.
I have been using this replacements for years and they never disappoint. Then only draw back is that they are getting more expensive but other than that, I have never had any issues with it.
Highly Recommended. Trust Walmart. LG says The filter is exactly the same size / fit as the old filter packaged in white boxes. fit perfect, works perfect
Only buy from LG. I bought one once and looked identical from a major online retailer. I cut it open and it was not even close to the quality or design of the original lg.
The original water filter produced great tasting water. Went online to order a replacement and thought I was ordering an LG filter but it was made by someone else. Water taste is terrible. I'm ordering another LG, from LG. I recommend this filter even though it's too expensive.
It works well
Received our fridge 5 months ago and now water tastes and smells terrible - like plastic from inside the unit because our tap water doesn't taste anything like it. Not impressed with how long the filter worked considering I would say moderate use at most. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought fridge new in Feb 2025, hooked up water dispenser and filter leaks. Filter has had cap removed, o rings inspected, no issues there or with installation. Model is LCFSEXS, filter from factory with fridge is Lt700p. Poorly designed, doesn't seal properly. Paid almost 2k for fridge and can't use dispenser without a mess on the top shelf. Looks to have been a design change in recent years. This is where your problem lies, lowered quality, cheaper materials or changed dimensions would cause this.
After the initial six months of operation, I started to experience low water flow from the drinking water feature of my refrigerator. I reviewed the trouble shooting section of the LG refrigerator owner's manual and it recommended changing the water filter. I inserted the new filter and the flow returned to the higher level that I experienced upon the new refrigerator installation. After 2 months of operation using the replacement filter, I started to experience limited water flow. I changed the filter again. Again, after 2 months of operation, the flow has been reduced. I live in an area where the water quality meets federal quality standards. Replacing the filter every 2 months is price prohibitive. PS: I have read your guidelines for writing reviews and this review does not violate any of your guidelines. + Pros: Style/Design ✘ No, I do not recommend this product.
