When the air gets cold and dry my skin gets so dry and itchy I practically peel it off trying to scratch!! I've tried so many different lotions and never any relief. This stuff is great, from first use I had less itchy spots. Every use after has gotten better. It's not greasy or heavy feeling at all and even though it has Menthol in it, it doesn't stink. Barely has a scent at all. I highly recommend this if you get dry itchy skin.
I am heartbroken to find out that the Soothing Relief Daily Lotion has been discontinued! After years of searching, I had finally found a product that performed as effectively as AmLactin, without the sticker shock. I hope Lubriderm and the Johnson & Johnson Family reconsiders this decision.
I don't like greasy, smelly lotions, but I have very dry hands, so its hard to find something that really works. THIS ONE WORKS! Even my husband has stated using it, and he's even pickier than I am. Highly recommend. One con- like many things that are reasonably priced and actually work, it can be hard to find. It's worth the effort, though!
This is a excellent product, it works very well. I have tried many other lotions that gave only temporary relief. Once I used this I was sold. All the red tenderness and itching stopped. My only problem is I can't find it in any stores now. Walmart, Walgreens, Publix, CVS, all don't seem to carry it. Any Suggestions?
I have a problem with itchy legs, so bad that it wakes me in the middle of the night. It starts with a little scratch, or a little red, pimple like bump... next thing you know... the entire leg is itched raw. I can't even shave, cause it makes it worse. I found a particular shae butter soap, in combination with Lubriderm Soothing Relief lotion has FINALLY, thank GOD, FINALLY, provided consistent relief of my constant itching. I can sleep at night, I can get my work done during the day because I'm not constantly lotioning, constantly scratching, rubbing and gritting my teeth because of my itchy legs! Unfortunately, it seems both Target and Walmart have discontinued it before it even had a chance. Not sure what I'm going to do now... look for it online I suppose.
I am 55. I have had scaly skin every winter since I was young. I have used Eucerin after my showers for the past 15 years with some relief. I have used this lotion for 6 months and my skin has never been so sft and smooth.
Tried several products and even prescription product. None of these worked. This product is amazing. Relives itchy skin for 24 plus hours. Thank you Lubriderm.
I've never had dry skin in my life. So when my feet started itching terribly I started wondering about what was going on. It took several months of severe itching, scratching (and the consequent bleeding) for me to finally come up with the idea that I might have dry skin. When I googled the issue, it turned out that dry skin can be a problem for seniors who have never before had the condition. Well, I'm seventy, so I went out and just at random bought Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion because it was the smallest jar on the supermarket shelf. Worked like a charm immediately and still does every time I put it on. Next time I'll buy a much larger size!
I have always been a fan of Lubriderm Lotion and this one is a welcome addition to the line. It is practically fragrance free and it has a slight cooling sensation which feels good on dry, itchy skin. It moisturizes the skin without feeling greasy and the moisturizing effect lasts all day, eliminating the need to constantly re-apply. The only thing that could make it better would be lower price or larger bottle.
The bottle came misshapen, and dented. Cap broken. I noticed it when I open the package.
