I purchased this product for 2011 Toyota Corolla where engine was making noises at startup loud noises and I put a little bit in and now it's all good
Lucas 16 oz Complete Engine Treatment multi-system cleaner & lubricant for gasoline and diesel engines is supposed to clean, lubricate, the entire fuel system and internal engine parts. I prefer fuel additives with (PEA) before taking an emission test for cleaning the fuel injectors and catalytic converter, however my fuel gauge has been acting erratic so I tried Locus complete engine treatment (without PEA) can't find the active ingredients beside showing no alcohol. This Lucas additive cleans and lubricates the entire fuel system so no more slow rising or stuck fuel gauge and to me that's 5 star product for not replacing the tank's internal fuel sender unit. I'm not sure about the other claims. I can't tell the difference in performance or if it does stabilize fuel but it did fix my fuel gauge. Direction says to add 1 ounce per gallon of fuel. 1 ounce per quart of oil. I suggest adding to an almost empty fuel tank first before filling tank for better mixture.
Lucas Oil Complete Engine Treatment does what Seafoam does, only better. It is truly a Complete Engine Treatment. Prevents fuel from degrading while in storage. Old fuel can change chemically, becoming thicker and causing loads of problems in your engine. Be proactive and add some Lucas Oil Complete Engine Treatment to the fuel, before long-term storage and then run the motor for 10 minutes or so to have it go through the injectors/carb passages. Once added, I like to slosh it around in the tank to mix it well, before running the motor. In a car/truck, just drive it for 10 minutes. I use on older, higher mileage/hours engines to clean fuel lines, carburetor passages and throttle bodies, even fuel injectors. It removes harmful deposits on intake valves and piston heads. It is recommended to use one bottle every 5,000 miles (up to 21 gallon tank), for best results. Bring the bottle with you to the gas station when you need to refill, then add before filling up. Or, for smaller engines, 1oz. per gallon. It can be used as an engine maintenance treatment, keeping things clean, improving MPG, lengthening the life of your motor, helping with upper cylinder wall/rings lubrication, etc.. When added to the oil, it improves viscosity for less wear on cold winter start-ups and protects metal parts from corrosion. If you take short trips your engine may not get up to operating temperature. Over time, moisture condenses inside, causing corrosion. Ethanol in fuel can also do damage. This product helps to counteract and mitigate those problems. A cheap insurance for protecting your valuable engines. Also extends the "life" of your oil and can be used with both Synthetic and Non-Synthetic. Add one ounce per quart of oil. 16 ounce bottle
ONCE YEAR CLEANER
I use a fuel additive to clean my injectors but I never thought of using this kind of a product for my car. It will help the life of the engine which is what we all want. The next time my car needs an oil change, I will definitely give this to my mechanic to add to my oil.
This engine treatment is not just for your car but anything that has an engine. This was great to use in our push lawnmower, riding lawn mower, edge trimmer and leaf blower. We recently put away all our summer equipment and we were secure in knowing that they were stored in tip top shape.
I added this to my 2005 Toyota 4Runner that has 323K miles on it. It was stuttering a lit bit when I pushed on the gas, so I added the entire bottle to my gas tank before I filled it. I travel a lot, so within the two days that it took me to use the whole tank of gas, I no longer had the sputtering. I assume that it's because to his product did an amazing job cleaning out my fuel injectors. I honestly didn't think it would just take 1 bottle, but I'm here to tell you that's how it worked! The directions say you can add it to your crankcase, too, so I'm going to get another bottle to add it at my next oil change!
I added it to my car and my riding mower. Guess it'll take some time to see results in my car. My mower, however, sputtered and coughed for about 30 seconds and then came to life like never before. Not only did I have increased power for driving and cutting grass, but did so in record time. Turns were at such a speed I could drift for no less than 15 feet each time. The blades from my mower deck shot everything in my yard into my neighbor's yard. Oh yeah! Righteous!
We live in a throw away world now. I however love my older car and try my best to take care of it. This engine treatment will definitely keep my car running at its best. Easy to follow directions that make using it simple, even for those who are mechanically challenged. No matter what type of engine you have, this product will help keep it running at its best.
Upon receiving the Complete Engine treatment, I followed the instructions on the back of the metal bottle. Honestly it seemed to help clean up my 2003 Dodge Ram pickup. My truck seems to be running better, for now. Time will tell, but I plan to continue using this product again in the near future.
