Lucky Leaf® Key Lime Pie Filling 21 oz. Can

This pie filling is very good but a bit on the pricey side.

My husband and I have bought this many times so we can quickly make a delicious Key Lime pie. We mix Key Lime non-fat yogurt with this filling with a little sour cream, pour into a pie crust and chill in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Unfortunately, Wal-Mart no longer carries Lucky Leaf Key Lime pie filling. You can buy two cans on Amazon for $24; they used to sell six cans for $21 . . . quite a jump in price from $3/can to $12! For some reason, retailers are carrying every flavor of pie filling you can image - just NOT Key Lime. I've had to resort to making the pie from scratch, then baking it in the oven. Tastes great, but it's a lot more work. Wish Wal-Mart would bring back the Lucky Leaf Key Lime pie filling!

Its good. Chill in refrigerator before opening and its really good .

I had high hopes that this filling would be good, especially since it's from Lucky Leaf, but their idea of Key Lime and mine are totally different. If Key Lime tasted like this in all the products out there, it would definitely not be my favorite flavor. I can't say that it was not edible, because I did eat it, but I will never buy it again. Also, the texture is nothing like a pie should be.

To strong of a taste

This has little key lime taste, but it is better than Comstock. I give it 1 star for color and 1 star for taste. I did buy it again so I could add some lime juice and have it on hand for a quick pudding.

The taste n texture was awful.

Purchased 4 cans because I thought it was as great of a product as other Lucky Leaf fillings . Big mistake tried adding more key lime juice to filling. Next attempt was trying to fold in a little cool whip, still not there. Thought maybe an icebox pie would work. When served 6 out of 8 didn't care for it but we're kind with their words. So that made a trip to the garbage can. After speaking with the company they suggested some recipes such as cookie bars with a cream cheese icing. Fair but can t say I would buy any more. Other filling from Lucky Leaf have always been a great go to for easy and tasteful deserts. But key lime needs a total rework.

It didn't taste like let lime. It had a soapy taste..
