Years of critical keys security
I like the sturdiness of the key case. I have used one of these for over 20 years. The magnets do not seem to wear out at all. I managed to break my old one (totally my fault) and bought this new one. Construction is heavy duty plastic. I hide it under my vehicle. It has stayed there for at least 20 years. Not needing it often is one of its most important points. Keep it in a good place and it will last for many years.

Test it without a key first!
Before using it on my car, I tested it on my refrigerator and one of the magnets immediately became loose. I did not yank or slam it or anything extreme- literally just put it on the fridge and slid it off. I did not test its ability to hold a key, I didn't even open the case. But if a product that depends on magnets has a loose magnet I'm not risking my key on it. I will be returning it and no longer consider Lucky Line as a reliable brand.

not impressed
i put this under my car as i go hiking on a daily basis and have locked myself out several times - that's why i bought this - to have a key to my car always available to me - well after a few hours of normal driving in sunny conditions - the whole box was gone and with it my $40 key - i was not impressed at all. i do not recommend this product at all.

The "inside" deminsions are a half inch too short. Scion XB 2015 .
