Luminarc 12 oz. Alto Clear Glass Wine Goblets 12 Piece Set

I received these wine glasses a week ago and I was really surprised at how elegant they are. Not too big but not too small. They have a simple elegance to them that I believe most women would really appreciate. They looked lovely displayed on my dining table. They aren't over powering like my other wine/water glasses are. I would definitely recommend these to my lady friends for their homes and some for their event centers they operate.

These are very nice, sturdy wine glasses that would hold up to daily wear. They are great for my needs. Although the box they came in was torn, there was no broken glasses, no broken or damaged glasses at all. Thank God. It does show the sturdiness of the glasses. They are thick, but not excessively thick. Jut enough to take on some ware.

These wine glasses are simple, not too heavy and not to light, and perfect for everyday use. I used to work for a winery and the glasses that were used for tasting are along the same level of quality. I like how the glass of the cup part is not thick, and the wine glass feels lightweight yet still sturdy. Looking at the glasses, I noticed a few had some flaws (air bubbles, and one had a little "spike" of glass on the rim that I sanded down with a file so that it would not cut my lip). The glass itself is nice and clear, and they are easily washed in the dishwasher (I used the bottom rack and they camd out fine). The cup is evenly balanced- some glasses can feel a little top-heavy but these are quite nice. I like how it comes in a 12 pack so that you have plenty for an event (or accidental breakage). Since receiving this product I've since replaced all of my old wine glasses with these. Overall, I recommend these to the everyday wine enthusiast as a quality, yet affordable glass. These would also make a nice wedding or housuewarming gifts.

With the Holidays in full swing, my wife and I picked up a 12 piece Luminarc Glassware Set. Luminarc refers to the Glassware Set as “Goblets” but I think that most people would recognize them as “Wine Glasses”. The wine glasses are made of high quality glass and they are crystal clear. The stem and base of the glasses are strong and are very stable when filled with liquid. Like any wine glass, you have to handle them with care when washing them. We have not placed them in the dishwasher but they are dishwasher safe but I would recommend washing them by hand. Overall, they are a good product.

A very nice set of stemware. The glasses have the look and feel of quality. They seem like they are sturdier than stemware I am used to, more difficult to break. I weighed one, 5.7 oz. Not light but not heavy either. A good, all-purpose glass. Why pay a fortune for stems, these will work just fine (and you won't cry if you happen to break one ; ).

12 wine glasses for your big party . These are great wine glasses for inside or outside use. They are heavy glass. The stem is a bit thin and could break easily if tipped over or used roughly on a solid patio surface. The glasses have a nice feel and drink easily out of them. You can put in white or red wine. You could even do small cocktails with seltzer.

These goblets are great for white wine, red, and even for water, they are all the same size. They are easy to hold onto and the wide mouth makes pouring drinks in them easy. The stem is delicate yet not to a point where they would easily break while cleaning them. These would make a great purchase for someone that is just starting to entertain or even just on those nights where you want to relax alone. The only thing I can say that I don't like about these is that some of them have a small black fleck of something embedded into the glass.

The glasses are nice but…I ordered 3 cases and one case arrived completely shattered. The glass boxes are marked fragile/handle with care but they were put in a bigger box to ship with no fragile labor on that box. I'm sure they were broken by the delivery company but it's still disappointing. Now I have to return them and reorder them and keep my fingers crossed that they don't come broken again. I used to be able to buy them in store but they don't carry them anymore in store.

The wine glasses are perfect for my needs. However, 2 (of 36 ordered) arrived broken in pieces. No effort was made to protect the glasses during shipping other than labeling the box, which contained three cartons of glasses, "fragile" and sticking some plastic inflatables in it. Not enough to warrant a return, but still . . .

When placing the order for 12 wine glasses, there was no option to ship it to the store so I could pick it up there, they automatically shipped it to my house. I just retrieved the box from my mailbox, which was shipped USPS, and there's no need for me to even open the package because I can hear broken glass. I'm very upset and hope Walmart will replace my order, and I will gladly pick it up from the store to avoid USPS from smashing the glasses.
