Very cool remote control car. My son immediately took it upon opening and put the car on the charger that it came with and some AA batteries in the remote and waited around an hour and started to play. That car really goes fast! I enjoyed seeing him whip it around the corners in our house.

I gave this to my son for his birthday, and he is not yet 8 but was able to play with it just fine. The lights are super fun, and it comes with other to change them out. You're not supposed to run it into things because that can break the lights. My son did leave it outside and it rained, but guess what? It still works!! He was very pleased with it, and it runs very well.

To be honest, I got this for my husband who is a kid at heart! This RC car is the best!!! First of all, it's got amazing grip tires for off roading, yet it also has the ability to drift around corners. It's extremely fast! Faster than other RC cars I've ever had. It's extremely durable for those moments where you take it a little too far. But the LED lights give off this need for speed racing appeal. This car is suitable for all age types 8 and above, but adults would highly benefit from it too.

This Led remote control car is so cool! My 10 year old nephew absolutely loves it. We have taken it outside, to the park and on walks with us! He loves it and has gotten many hours of play out of it. The car is sturdy and has had its fair share of wrecks and is still perfect. It is fantastic that it's customizable. I would definitely recommend this remote control car.

My kids love this. It doesn't take to long before needs to be charged again but the kids don't mind. They have been zooming it around on the hardwood floors. You need a couple batteries as well. We love how it lights up. Even the wheels. We included a couple pictures.

My daughters love this speedy little car!! It's flashy and fun!! The instructions were easy, and it didn't take long to charge the battery! The light up features were a highlight for my kiddos! It was easy for them to catch onto steering etc! It went well over pavement, flooring and even fresh cut grass!! This little car will be providing hours of fun for my kiddos this summer!! I highly recommend!!

lumiTek brand R/C Drift King Customizable LED Car is a remote controlled car for kids 8 and older. The car has pre drilled holes in the car so that you can create your own custom light up design. This car is fun to watch at night and my 12 year old son liked it and gave it a rating of 5 out of 5.

I received this illuminating RC car, and my son loves it. The colors make it look really cool. The handling is not perfect but great there was a moment when the turning was not working. The one hand control is great too. I don't know if we stripped the screw but the battery door keeps popping open so we have to tape that up.

This Drift King customizable rc car looks pretty cool right out of the box. What I also realized realized rather quickly is the first design flaw: the battery for the car is rechargeable, but to charge it, you have to unscrew the lid on the underside of the car. So every time the car needs to be charged, you've got to go through the hassle of unscrewing the compartment, removing the battery, and charging it with the provided cord. This means parts will wear out faster than they need to and you'd better not lose the charging cord or the tiny screwdriver that comes with the set. There was a "Try Me" button on the box that plugged into the bottom of the car on the outside. It makes no sense that this wouldn't be the charging port, as well. Based on that alone, I wouldn't recommend this car. The battery life also left a whole lot to be desired. My kids played with this car for less than half an hour before the battery petered out. Steering was difficult to master, but maybe a little work on calibration would help. As for the customizable part... maybe if you're someone who likes to tinker and take things apart this feature will be very appealing to you and that would be a fun endeavor. But for me, between the crummy battery life and the inconvenience of not having an external charging port, I can't say this will get much use in my house once the novelty wears off...or we lose the charging cord.

The toy in itself looks very cheaply made. The car is thin plastic and the light up feature is just some neon mini rope lights tact onto the car. I think it would entertain for a little while, but I believe most kids would get bored of it quite quickly.
