Lunchables Uploaded Turkey & Cheddar Cheese Sub Sandwich Kids Meal, 15 oz Box, Refrigerated, Whole

Took this for lunch when spending the day kayaking the creek. It was a perfect fit. Small, packaged well and taste great.

my son loves these. less processed meats would be appreciated but he loves it so that's good.

Easy to pack for school lunch and apparently filling

Overall this is a pretty decent lunch option. Easy box to take with you anywhere. Very convenient. The water / punch powder mix was tasty. Chips and a couple chocolates were both good. The only major drawback was the bread and sandwich in general. Came with a mayo packet but a mustard packet would be nice. Kids probably don't care for mustard though. Needed a bit more turkey. Another slice or two would make a huge improvement. My biggest issue by far though is the bread. Mine was sliced but also very VERY solid. Was not stale which was my first thought, but it was very firm and quite dry. I checked the sell by date on the box which was still more than a month away, but I have no idea if this was a long time for this product? Perhaps I should expect this from a product that sits on a cooler shelf for so long, perhaps I was a bit naive, but it really reminds me of burger buns from an MRE meal. Didn't taste bad, just gives every bite a feeling that somethings wrong with this sandwich. Softer bread would make this SO much better. Needs - Softer Bread - a bit more meat - mustard packet.

4 think slices of meat, 6 small slices of cheese, the bread was not fresh - it was not a real sandwich. I even added the potato chips to the sandwich to give it some personality. Oh well, maybe it would be filling for a child's lunch but not particularly healthy! Waste of my money.
