Lund 601010 Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier

Works great, simple to use. Just need the receiver hitch. Been using it for a year now with no problems. I did have to modify it a little as it rode a little low on my Chrysler Pacifica and scraped on steep driveways or big bumps, but that was simple too.

I received the carrier in good time. It was easy to assemble. I am a woman and it is light enough for me to handle. The down side is that it is not as stable as I'd like it to be. There is some wiggle to it. I haven't tried to put the max weight on it yet, however, I don't feel safe trying to place 500lbs on it. It doesn seem sturdy enough to handle the weight. It is plenty good enough to carry luggage, sporting or camping gear, bicycles and ice chests.

The product itself is very sturdy, easy to assemble. I had to modify the hitch receiver on a 2003 4 Runner as the receiver's corners hit the corners of the hitch. I had to grind them down just a little bit.

It works great. only thing is when its in the up position it just barely fits it touches the bumper. I don't think it will scratch it but still worried a little. I would be nice if it stuck out about 2 inches longer.

Had trouble with two pieces fitting together due to a turned-up edge on grate ("floor" of carrier). Have since seen less expensive ones but could not compare strength/metal thickness.

Instructions were very easy to follow. Only problem I had was one of the holes didn't line up. Other than that it was a very good buy, and I am happy with it.

Excellent in most every way, didn't fit on our 2015 Jeep Liberty because of the spare tire being on the outside tail gate.
