Rate this whole transaction as 100 % Delivery was when and where it should be Install was depicted in docs very well. Fit was as stated in docs All that is left is we will see how long it lasts in Michigan with the diversified weather. Very pleased with all at this point and would recommend .Thank you Wags
I purchased this Lund cover to replace an existing 7 year old Lund cover (same part number as the old one) because the old one had stitching that was coming apart and delaminating the layers. Well the new one is designed different and does not seal or fit as tight as the old one. It leaks in every corner and I'm required to lift it up before closing the tailgate unlike the old one. I wish I fixed the old one and kept that because it was better. Very disappointed.
ordered on Thursday, received on Friday!
You need to give Lee a raise! She was awesome, very knowledgeable, great communication skills and did a super job on follow up on some ordering questions. Billing dept was great to work with!!
This was the second truck i put this on. First one i paid over $500 to have it installed by the retailer. this time i bought it here online and received free shipping. It took me about 12 minutes to get this installed after it was unpacked. Great product that i highly reccomend.
These Roll Up Tonneau Covers are a perfect solution to any pickup. Very easy to install. Quick and simple order and delivery process. This is the second time I have modified my new trucks with these covers...and cannot imagine life without it. It is well worth the price, and especially affordable.
I picked this Lund cover because I had very good luck with one on my other truck. This was supposed to be almost the same, but few aspects have been cost reduced and proven itself to be very weak. Especially when first setting tension on the cover. Make sure to thread the adjusters alllll the way out and do it on a sunny day so the cover has good stretch. Other then that it's as expected
Although still a nice tonneau cover, the new Genesis version is not quite as nice as the old Genisis cover. My original Genesis cover lasted eight years, so hopefully this one will last at least the same. However, it's obvious that Lund has gone the cheap route with the new Genesis version. My newly arrived Genesis cover now has only a single latch at the rear located on the driver's side rail where my old Genesis cover had dual latches, one on each side. Also, the new version now has awkward thumb-screws located at the front of each rail for tensioning the tarp. This makes it rather tedious for adjusting tarp tension. The "old" Genesis version had automatic tensioning via the spring-loaded latching mechanisms at the rear of each rail. And, the corners of the tarp were nicely sown on my old model, where the corners of the new tarp are not. This does make for a rather "unfinished" look on the new tarp. On the bright side, my "new" Genesis cover now has flexible rubber seals at both the front rail and tailgate to resist water which were lacking on my old model. Overall, I am satisfied with my "new" version, but it is a bit lacking on the quality side compared to my "old" model Genesis cover.
Great price, great look but the installation... Followed the instructions to the "T". One side was missing a length of foam, so I had to add my own 6'6" piece for the side of the bed for things to fit right. The 6 mounting clamps were the problem, trying to get them in the correct position so as to keep the rail level to the bed as well as keeping them level side to side was a challenge. Tightened everything up and after using the truck around town I found everything had loosened up...UUHHH...
I have an f350 with a 6'9" box. This cover doesn't have enough adjustment to make it tight. Water pools on it terribly. I have to remove it and make more adjustment on the rail slots. I'm not a fan of only having two bow supports and that was a concern of mine when I ordered it. Not satisfied with this product at all.
