Rate this whole transaction as 100 % Delivery was when and where it should be Install was depicted in docs very well. Fit was as stated in docs All that is left is we will see how long it lasts in Michigan with the diversified weather. Very pleased with all at this point and would recommend .Thank you Wags
I purchased this Lund cover to replace an existing 7 year old Lund cover (same part number as the old one) because the old one had stitching that was coming apart and delaminating the layers. Well the new one is designed different and does not seal or fit as tight as the old one. It leaks in every corner and I'm required to lift it up before closing the tailgate unlike the old one. I wish I fixed the old one and kept that because it was better. Very disappointed.
ordered on Thursday, received on Friday!
You need to give Lee a raise! She was awesome, very knowledgeable, great communication skills and did a super job on follow up on some ordering questions. Billing dept was great to work with!!
Exactly what I was hoping for. Unlike some other covers, there are no battens left in place when the cover is rolled up, and no snaps to fight. Part of the instructions weren't clear until I started the actual install process, then it just fell into place and fit perfectly.
I've had this cover for about 6 months now, I'd have to say I'm pretty happy with it. I've had 2 other bed covers before, 1st one was a roll up but instead of Velcro, it had plastic clips that fit in the sides and allowed them to slide to get it tight once you clipped the back. I liked it, but clipping the back meant pulling it tight while trying to get the plastic clips to snap. Then it had metal bars that went across in 3 places to keep it bowed. They were suppose to stay in place, but on the highway they would come loose and fall out. So, next time I bought a tri-fold. I thought this would be a great idea. The metal bars were built in and I could fold it part way if I only needed a little open in the back. Well, you had to fold 2/3s of it to get it to snap down and then never folded all of the way open and lef that 1/3 blocked. If you wanted the whole bed opened, you had to take it off and worry about where to put that. When I bought my latest truck, I saw this cover. Built in cross bars, adjustment on the back end to keep tight and when rolled up, leave the whole bed open and no need to remove it. I was a little afraid of the Velcro on the sides, but they work great. The way it pulled it tight in the back is easy and works great. And to open it, you have to pull a release from inside the bed. So your if your tailgate locks...so does this. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to friends and all.
Easy to install. I had purchased same Lund cover for different vehicle. Problem I'm having with this cover is 1/4 inch "gap" between tailgate and cover. Had to buy weather strip to prevent snow and rain getting into bed. Still, I am happy with my purchase.
I picked this Lund cover because I had very good luck with one on my other truck. This was supposed to be almost the same, but few aspects have been cost reduced and proven itself to be very weak. Especially when first setting tension on the cover. Make sure to thread the adjusters alllll the way out and do it on a sunny day so the cover has good stretch. Other then that it's as expected
Cover was very easy to install and looks great when adjusted. However the cover seems bigger than the frame and barely touches the Velcro rails on the sides, which means it constantly needs adjusting. A little disappointing. I don't know if I would purchase another or recommend this product to someone.
I have an f350 with a 6'9" box. This cover doesn't have enough adjustment to make it tight. Water pools on it terribly. I have to remove it and make more adjustment on the rail slots. I'm not a fan of only having two bow supports and that was a concern of mine when I ordered it. Not satisfied with this product at all.
