This early alert system is a potential lifesaver. The early alert portion of it is a pad that is placed on the bed. As the person you are caring for begins to rise, the pad detects the uneven pressure and transmits an alert to the caregiver. It tells the caregiver specifically how far along the patient is in the process of getting out of bed. This can help the caregiver determine the urgency of getting to that bedside. The pad is waterproof so no need to worry about spills or accidents. The wireless receiver allows the caregiver freedom to attend other duties while still being attentive to the patient. Everyone knows bone fractures can signal the beginning of the end for an elderly person. Preventing this type of injury is of highest importance. Works as advertised. Mattress clips a little difficult on water resistant mattress cover.

This is great for anybody who has a special needs adult or child that they care for so they will know if somebody gets out of bed and make sure that person doesn’t fall and hurt themselves etc. I have an autistic child so this will definitely help.

The only problem I have had with it is the length of the pad. My wife has Vascular Dementia and she "roams around" the bed causing false alarms when she moves off the pad. Other than that, it works and it is far better then the motion detector I used previously.

wonderful product. doesn't sense the movement unless you are getting out of the bed. no false alarms. I do wish there was a 3rd option for volume other than just vibration.

Its a bed alarm for elderly or disoriented patients. Anyway for the sake of review, it really does the job. It alarms the way you set it. Its pretty loud if the room is in the first floor and you are in the second, you can still here it. Its pretty cool actually I want to try it to my kids too!

It is hard to design something like this, I get it, but it would be nice if it didn't have an airport lighting quality sensor to show you it is on (and please have all LED lights shine red, easier on eyes at night). And the pad goes off for 'no reason'. My elderly person is in the middle of the bed, yet it went off...
