These super absorbent pads are fantastic and great to have on hand. Each pad can turn water-based body fluids into a gel within seconds. They are medical grade and come in a very sturdy box. All you have to do is insert one pad in the liner or bucket to contain fluids. It saves you from having to empty the commode or bedpan after each use. We have only one bathroom in our house and we were having work done and were without the use of the toilet for over a week. I was using a 5 gallon bucket lined with trash bags and filled with paper towels. The paper towels just couldn't handle it. Someone told me about these pads and how they had used them while camping. I got some and they really saved the day. They were super absorbent and cleanup was so easy. The days without the toilet passed rather easily with these pads.

These commode pads turn water-based and body fluids into gel within seconds. There is no odor. The pads measure 9.5 in. by 5 in. The pads are already separated in the box. To empty the commode or bucket, all you do is pull on the draw string to remove the pad. Then tie the drawstring tightly around the opening of the bag. This holds in odors and prevents leaks.

Great idea for the porta pottie. I tested 1/2 of one by using a container with 20 ozs of water and it solidified the entire 20 ozs. Happy to have this product because my husband is a stage 4 Cancer patient. See pictures I posted

These pads work very well and they do in fact absorb waste. And makes it solidify to a type of gelatin. But you will need to have the inner lining for the beside commode. As these pads are “not” flushable; and without the lining in the commode you will create a mess. They work great while using a lining.

Having these pads on hand will make your life much easier. There are so many times you will be happy you have these! If someone in your home is using a bedside commode, if you go camping and use a camping commode or bucket for waste disposal, or if the water is turned off and you are lining the toilet with a plastic bag, and in a plethora of other occasions in which we find ourselves. The commode, bucket, etc. should be lined. Possibly with a Lundberg Commode Liner. The commode pad is place in the lined commode. When it is used, up to 35 ounces, within seconds the contents become a gel, making disposal clean and easy. These pads reduce odors and are fragrance free. Do not flush the contents down the toilet. Tie up the bag, dispose of it. Reline the commode or bucket. Place another pad. Commodes should be cleaned daily. We are all looking at staying healthy and disposal of waste products should be as clean and easy as possible. Walmart carries the Lundberg Commode Liners as well as the pads. These beneficial products should be known to all caregivers and campers, and should be in all homes where a bedside commode is in use. They make this situation more easy, clean and pleasant for all concerned.

When I ordered these, we were having plumbing issues and I thought they would work well in the bedside commode we were using until the plumbing was fixed. Plumbing got fixed before they arrived, but we have a dog who has accidents inside on occasion, so I decided to use them to clean up the urine. They work great, I just laid a few in the urine and they soaked it right up, I then picked them up and threw them away. They worked so much better than paper towels!

These commode pads work with my bucket toilet that I use when camping. They are designed for home care products but are more far reaching for added usage along the same lines. I find it advantageous along the means of controlling leaks with use of bags not designed to hold fluids.

I have these for an elderly relative who has a need to use them for testings and she is comfortable now having them, she likes the way they are packaged, easy to use, and easy to send for testing, she hasn't had any accidents since using and they are really absorbent

This pads are much smaller than I had expected. I expected each pad to completely cover the bottom of the commode and up the sides some. It doesn't. Each pad only measures approximately 5 in x 10 inches. If it is not centered correctly in the commode, it won't capture all of the liquid. The wetness is felt on both sides, so it is not waterproof.
