Lutron Diva Smart Dimmer Switch Starter Kit for Caséta Smart Lighting, with Smart Hub, Pico Remote, and Pedestal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lutron smart dimmers are the best way to get your lighting in a smart networks. The fact that no neutral is required is key. You can be sure it will work however your house is wired. Installation of this unit took me no more than 10 mins and all was ready to go. When it comes to dimmable lights you want to do your research because many dimmers will cause flickering. Lutron is a trusted brand known for their dimmer switches that is compatible with most dimmable lights. I installed the Lutron Caseta switches all throughout my house, but I had not tried the Diva so I decided to give it a try. I love that there is a wire to make it compatible with wired 3 way switches as you do not find that in most of the Caseta switches. I have a wire there for 3 way switches, but I am using this for a foyer light and decided to use the pico remote switch as my 2nd switch without using the blue wire. The pico remote is so easy to pair and the instructions are easy to follow.The switch works perfectly with my chandelier style light. There is no flickering at all. When you turn it off it gives you about to seconds where it dems the light to off. This switch has a lever to dim. Lutron smart switches are alexa compatible so you can set it up and tell alexa to turn your lights on and off.Highly recommended!

The installation process for me took a little bit longer because the wiring did not match the diagrams or the videos online; however, I was able to figure it out with a little bit of research through their website. I like how the switch functions in that the button does not turn it off like a traditional switch; instead, you click it like a mouse button. I'm very impressed with the look and feel of the switch and also the integration into smart technology. I think that smart technology is the way of the future, and I believe that with this dimmer switch one step closer to having a smart home.

The box came with instructions and if we needed anything extra it was easy to find online.
