I'm surprised by the quality for the price, the control stick isn't perfect, but for 10 dollars it is most certainly good enough. I did some tests with DK64 to see how moving around would be, and it's pretty good, sneaking is a bit inconsistent on my end, but aside from some very specific instances like in Banjo-Tooie, it shouldn't really be an issue, I was able to maintain the walking speed in DK64 no problem. The controller is pretty comfortable to handle and all the face buttons feel surprisingly good, they have a nice click to them that makes them satisfying to press on in rapid succession, the control stick itself is also rather comfortable to use, somewhat similar to a GameCube control stick. The D-Pad isn't as good as the OG controller, but it's serviceable, and most games don't need that anyway, mainly just KI Gold, Mischief Makers and a few other 2D games. Overall, for the price of only 10 dollars, it's more than good enough, especially if you want to just throw down in Smash 64 or play some Mario Party with friends. The original Mario Party with the stick spinning mini-games will probably be much more playable with this controller over the OEM as the stick shouldn't cause any discomfort during game play, I think that's a rather useful feature for that game in particular. Overall, I'm seriously considering getting more of these, as I quite like it. For 10 dollars you cannot go wrong with this controller, it even has a variety of different colors available.

Worked exactly as needed! Had my old N64 sitting there, collecting dust, and now i get tondave Hyrule, Kong island and the Mushroom Kingdom all over again!

This controller works great as a replacement for the standard N64. Especially the stick! The buttons are good, and so are the shoulder buttons. D-pad needs a little work on it.
