I prefer these gallon sized bags over the smaller bags. I always purchase Luzianne brand! My family drink 1-2 gallons of tea a day so I always keep these stocked.! In my opinion the flavor from this tea is just better and some other brands cause heartburn and this brand doesn't!
wasn't sure about size but I really like now. I boil my water and drop in a large tea bag for 9 minutes, after the timer goes off I only have to fish one large tea bag out instead of 4. For entertaining I have a gallon tea pitcher but for everyday use i have a half gallon that fits nicely in the door of my fridge, family knows to add water to the concentrated tea container when refilling their glass. Louisiana Tea tastes great and will last longer in the fridge during the winter when we drink less tea, in the summer it's faster to make 2-3 times a day.
Love I only have to mess with 1 tea bag but found that you need to add the tea bag AFTER your tea kettle starts to whistle and you've removed kettle from the burner or the tea bag will break ending up with tea grounds everywhere inside. Let it seep for 15-20 minutes in the kettle.
Being from the South, I am absolutely obsessed with sweet tea — and the brand of tea you use is VERY important! Luzianne Black Tea is the only brand I trust. It brews perfectly every time, giving that smooth, classic flavor that makes the best sweet tea. I wouldn't use anything else!
I'm an every day tea drinker. I'm thankful for these instead of using 4 bags at a time. To all the people saying the bags tear, they must be overly aggressive with them because I've never had one tear and have used these since they first came out.
I make this daily. I put two of the bags in my big pot and bring it to a boil then let it cool, or pour it over ice immediately. I make it strong and it tastes delicious. Definitely appreciate the caffeine.
Makes the best ice tea with lots of tea flavor. I use 4 bags of Luzianne family tea bags to even get a little flavor. This gives me the full bodied flavor of black tea leaves. My new go to for my year round iced tea enjoyment l
This tea is a better value than Lipton tea bags and I can't tell the difference in taste. We make and drink at least a gallon of tea a day. Great price at Wal-Mart.
We sure like this tea in the summer for sun tea. As winter finally took over I have been brewing it in the coffeemaker. It's a nice smooth tasting tea. I have noticed that when brewed it doesn't have a lot of sediment or foam in the pot. I had been buying a different brand that was doing this when put out in the sun or in the coffeemaker. I like that I can make a gallon and have it in the refrigerator for everyone to enjoy.
This is the only tea that I will use and have used it for at least the last 20 years. I raised 2 of my granddaughters and all of their friends that came over loved grandma's tea and said it was the best. I make 2 gals of tea at a time and use my coffee maker to brew the tea bags with. Having the tea bags in the gallon size works a lot better than having to use 8 of the family size bags. I put 2 bags in the coffee maker and 12 cups of water to brew right at the 12 cup mark on my coffee pot. I put 6 cups in each of my gallon pitchers, add a cup of sugar, stir it up and finish filling it with cold water. I even brew some ahead and put it hot into a canning jar with 1 cup of sugar, stir it up and seal it and put it in the fridge. All I have to do with those is to pour cold water into my gallon tea pitcher leaving enough room for the already brewed tea. I pour the cold brewed sweetened tea in the gallon almost full of cold water and stir it up and have fresh brewed tea. This really works well if you are in a hurry and already have it brewed and even better if you need to make tea and your power is off. I would recommend that anyone try it because it's the best tasting tea around.
