My only problem with these (this is my second one) is that they solder the fuse into the circuit board. So if you exceed the rated amperage, it’s dead. It is possible to replace the fuse, but very easy to damage the unit. Do buy more capacity than you need

I got these to charge multiple batteries for my weed eaters in my truck. I have several areas I go to that I need the batteries charged. These charged my batteries nicely plugged into my multiple outlets in the truck. I can charge 4 batteries at the same time and have them fully charged in under 20 minutes. These are strong and are quiet. Nice to have AC current when needed.

This 500 watt power inverter is great for power outages and camping. It pairs up nicely with a 350 watt hot plate. Just connect it to any 12 volt battery and your good to go. It's also great for camping in areas where open flame is banned.

use it in my semi to power a personal sized crock pot to heat my lunch. last one I had blew fuses. so far, nothing but smiles from this purchase. use every day.

I removed the cigarette lighter plug placed a inline switch and put on small clips to connect to a 36ah 12v battery. Running a 56watt fan and charging 2 devices the charger ran for 2.5 hours. it was warm almost hot but acceptable. used it again with the trolling motor to listen to a small 110v 3 amp Radio. works just fine. small size allows to Velcro the unit to the Battery. small size can store in glove box if needed. A second one might be in order after finding out how useful this one is. car/boat/RV,

Compact and practical. Works as promised

It didn't work for what I needed to use it for. I have the smaller one which would not power an electric kettle that I like to take camping for oatmeal, grits, coffee, etc.. so, I purchased the 500W thinking that the higher wattage should be capable of providing enough for operation without tripping. I was wrong. This one tripped too. I am not an electrician but I do understand that electrical items with a heating element pull higher wattage, like a hair dryer, etc.. but I had seen other reviews where this unit was used to power a small, single burner cook top and another where it was used to power a small crock pot.. so, heating elements.. seemed like fairly common sense that this may work for my purpose. The small electric kettle works fine in a standard 110 outlet in my home, so I'm at a loss now as to what kind of wattage I would actually need in an item such as this to be able to power my kettle.

Bought to help run travel heater in vehicle. Used for 1 week and it began throwing sparks. Had 1 item plugged in, but was very difficult to unplug cord from this unit.

mine does not work. from the start it hasn't worked. I imagine it's just a bad one because I'm sure they wouldn't be selling it otherwise. the problem I have is that I waited too long before I tried it, therefore, I missed the eligible for return date.

I bought this hoping I could use my straightener in my car , car was running plugged in converter and waited a few minutes then plugged in my the straightener and the it shut off and now won't turn on at all in a regular outlet completely killed it
