[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's way lighter than you expect it to be, with the best keyboard I've ever used on a laptop. My MacBook Air feels like a dangerous piece of sharp aluminum now, and my Microsoft Surfase feels like a tablet with a ratty type cover….. (never thought I'd feel that way about either of those machines)… love the track point, and reach for the Nano even before my phone to check email etc… leave it on sleep mode most of the time, when not in use and the battery lasts all day! Amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good laptop and I can give a recommendation for it. Windows side is near flawless and Ubuntu works great. Starting off with good, its light compact, and has a decent battery life. On the ubuntu side i have had basically no problems at all programming. I did do some minor tweaks to turn into into a more ideal machine. when you get this laptop update the drivers, this fixes any software issue you might run into, so bios, windows, etc. A personal preference is to swap the ctrl key which is easily done in the bios. Finally if your dual booting into ubuntu install gnome tweak tools to add the full touchpad functionality. In ubuntu only the screen tears a bit, change the zoom % if that happens. Your doing dev work if in ubuntu anyways, so that does not matter. I'm pleased with this laptop, for what it is it's a tiny, rugged, monster of a device.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light-weight, sleek and very fast, my ThinkPad X1 Nano (13”) laptop is PERFECT for school and personal use! Typing is a breeze with its EXCELLENT keyboard! This laptop shouts "QUALITY" in every way! I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Think Pad is a gold standard to laptops . My simple serach criteria is too check options within ThinkPad range and choose one. Longeivity and Reliabibility is guaranteed. In recent times there has been vast improvement in looks and now the machine has an attrcative design too. To use a phrase what a beauty in looks and beast in performance combination.!!! Three Cheers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is amazingly light and yet powerful. With 16GB memory configuration I am running many demanding applications on it simultaneously and it's holding up pretty well. So far the battery charge has been lasting 6+ hours with moderate to high usage. If you are ok with using the USB C hub to connect all other accessories then this is a great portable powerhouse to carry around and meet most of your computing needs. I am not a gaming user and don't intend to use this unit as a gaming laptop, but for demanding business users, this is the perfect companion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own an X1 Carbon (5th gen) at 2.49 lbs with a standard 14" non-touch 1920 x 1080 FHD display. My new X1 Nano weighs in at 1.99 lbs with its standard 13" non-touch 2160 x1350 2K display. 1/2 lb lighter than the X1 Carbon which is the lightest 14" laptop and is lighter than most 13.3" laptops. Plus thanks to it's 16:9 aspect ratio the height of the X1 Nano's display is equal to that of my X1 Carbon (though the newest X1 Carbon also has new 16:9 ratio). This is 'the laptop' to get if you want to lighten your luggage weight when traveling or even daily commuting. Just leave a usb-c hub at home and/or at work for when you need additional ports like hdmi for external monitor and devices needing traditional usb-a ports. Note: even the AC adapter is more compact than the AC adapters that came with my X1 Carbon that also uses USB-C port for charging. And when traveling just bring only this AC adapter to charge either your laptop or your android phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic product - I had a Lenovo laptop that I loved and wore out so I bought this to replace it. It's even faster and weighs next to nothing. The keyboard seems sturdier than my older model. One month in and loving it.
I have been very happy with this machine. I am coming from a Dell XPS 13, and I am more satisfied with this computer. I has an excellent display and keyboard is exceptional for a machine this thin. The Lenovo Bios is easy to configure which is important to me as I run Linux and do some virtualization. Two downsides that I have are that I'm not excited about the power button placement and I not a long-term Lenovo user so I could do without the nub, but those issues are minor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First bootup after opening package - suffered from "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes." error message. The error looped for several hours without progressing. Had to shut off wifi to force computer to start.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buyer beware. The machine works fine (with one issue), but I had to return two computers. The first two both were complete failures of machines and utterly unworkable. One of them couldn't even start up, the other would shut down randomly. So far, this computer sometimes crashes my web browsers for no reason, and I'm still trying to get that figured out.
