Lyric 2647448 Nyjer Seed - 3 lb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lyric Nyjer seed seems to be a favorite of the finches in my area. I even think that the doves seem to enjoy this treat. I have not been feeding birds for a number of years now due to a recommendation years ago to pause feeding for bird health reasons. I am so happy to begin again. I love hearing the very vocal finches outside of my bedroom window every morning. It is a great way to start the day and really brightens my mood. The Lyric seed seems to be a very high quality product and my bird friends seem to love it. An added plus is that the squirrels seem have no interest in the nyjer seed and my area has a pretty large amount of squirrels. Overall, I am very happy with this item and am looking forward to getting a fancier bird feeder in the near future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our backyard has had quite the visits from a variety of small birds due to adding Lyric- Nyjer Seed and feeders! Lyric-Nyjer Seed attracts gold finches, doves, chickadees, nuthatches, Downy Woodpeckers and other small species not mentioned. The best part is squirrels typically don't have any interest in these particular feeders with the Nyjer Seeds inside! So no worries about the squirrels eating all the littles feed. The seeds can be used year round but winter is the best time as food gets scarce and hard to find. They get used to the feeders so it's actually best to continue putting seeds out along with fresh water so they don't leave hungry. They need the seeds for fuel to keep going during cold winter months. Some Nyjer Seeds I've used in the past either dry out or get mushy/moldy inside the feeders but not when using Lyric Seeds. If you're like me and my family and are bird watchers/feeders I urge you to give Lyric- Nyjer Seeds a try and you to will be glad you did... You and your littles will want to thank me later!

I happened to notice that this seems cleaner than most birdseed that I have purchased. It doesn't seem to have all the flakes that most do. I don't have to clean up a mess after getting the seed out of the bag. I will be buying this the next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lyric Wild Bird Food works great in any bird feeder. We have two different bird feeders and the birds just flock to the seed. We are attracting more song birds lately. Lyric Nyjer Bird Feed lives up to it's reputation.

My finches LOVE it and I've got so many new birds coming to my feeder. Probably one of my favorite things about this food is my squirrels don't eat it!! So it lasts me four times as long (or more)! Overall a great high quality food that lasts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to pour Lyric Nyjer Seeds in my tubular bird feeder. I hung my feeder at my lake house and waited to see what birds arrived to enjoyed the food. Saw a couple of different finches, love watching them enjoyed the food.

Beautiful fat black seeds, and they smell fresh and wonderful. As soon as I filled the feeder, the birds seemed to agree. They devoured it. I am very pleased with this product and will actively look for this product next time we need seed refills. Highly recommend this seed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 different bird feeders in my backyard, so I put the regular food in two of the feeders and this bird food in the other feeder. I noticed that it was gone more often and I was filling it more. I also noticed that there were more prettier birds at the feeder containing this bird seed.
