Lysol Power Toilet Bowl Cleaner, 8oz, 10X Cleaning Power

After buying and using this outstanding cleaning product for the first time, I went out the very next day to purchase another bottle or two just to be sure that I had plenty (no I don't clean for a living, but I would give it the best recommendation to someone that does!). I purchased another bottle that appeared to have the same lettering on it, but got it home and it was a white liquid; with none of the cleaning properties as this one. I've been looking everywhere I go to find the blue liquid, and was beginning to think my bottle was the last of an ERA! However, after reading the review below from SAQMBE, I know that she had the blue liquid too! I'm going to place an order today to be sure that this is the one! Wish me luck. If it turns out not to be the blue gel with a great clean fragrance, I will be soooo, dissapointed. Lysol has a winner with this one! LOVETHISLYSOL

For the past year, I had some unsightly stains in the bottom of my toilet. I had tried your other toilet bowl cleaners plus all of the Clorox toilet bowl cleaners to remove the stains. I also tried home remedies such as bleach, vinegar, baking soda, abrasive cleansers, and anything else I could think of to try. I could not empty the bowl to scrub the bottom because I am disabled and could not reach the shut off valve. I finally came across Lysol Power. I squirted an ample amount in the bowl with the water and let it set. I then used my brush to scrub it. I was delighted to see that Lysol Power had removed the stains- finally. I thought I was going to have to replace the toilet. Thank you for this great product.

I use this all the time because it smells fresh, cleans, and doesn't bleach color our if it splashes on something.

I am writing this because when I could not figure out the cap I looked online here and could not find the answer. I am also happy that Lysol is so diligent about their safety features. The trick is this: The cap moves a small distance with a little force but then hits against a tab underneath. You then must squeeze the cap in a place away from this obstruction to change the cap from being round to oval. This expands the cap at the critical point and allows the cap restriction to pass over the tab to the open position for use. When you are finished, remember to replace the cap to its child-proof position. Hope this helps. George

Your product is great, however, leakage for the cap following use has not destroyed the cabinet shelf surfact in two of our cabinets. Please tell us what to do to prevent the leakage.

The last bottle I bought, I had to throw away because it was leading at the seam. Now a brand new bottle I opened today will only come out a drop at a time when fully opened and squeezing with firm pressure. Of course I don't want to squeeze too hard for fear of another leaking seam! Very frustrated:(

After reading so many great reviews online, I went out to buy this. Unfortunately, my bottle cap was defective. I had read the instructions carefully on how to open it and it did not work. I then asked family and friends to help me because perhaps I was doing it wrong, but to no avail. We could not get the top to twist enough to get the product to flow out. Very unfortunate. Perhaps it truly is a great product like many other Lysol products, but this was not my experience.

Purchase toilet bowl cleaner from Cosco, very disappointed on the new cap design the very hard to open and leak the side of the container make terrible mess .

Me and a few of our friends have noticed that this isn't working on the rust in the toilet anymore. Has the formula changed? Very sad day.

Would be nice if the cap actually opened.. spent 10 minutes trying to figure it out. Not designed particularly well.
