It's more expensive than the bargain brands but it does the best job. It's thick enough to cling to the sides of the bowl without dripping completely off. As for the smell... from a distance, it's a nice smell, but I'm NOT sticking my face in the toilet to smell it (not happening). One word of caution, if you have pets that drink out of the toilet, don't leave the lid up while this stuff is in there and do rinse it thoroughly.

This Lysol toilet bowl cleaner works really well and makes cleaning fast and easy. The thick gel clings to the bowl, helps remove stains and buildup, and leaves a fresh clean scent behind. It's effective, affordable, and does a great job of keeping the toilet looking and smelling clean.

This is the only cleaner I will buy. The blue, non-bleach, Lysol brand only. It thoroughly cleans and disinfects ceramic toilets and sinks. I also use it to clean the tub, tiles in the shower, and glass shower doors. It instantly loosens the hard water that builds around faucets (quickly brush the hard water away and immediately use water to clear away the produce, otherwise it may permanently damage the faucet hardware!)

I think it's the best stuff for cleaning rust stains out of the toilet, just pour it all over inside the toilet and let it soak in for 10 minutes and use the brush lightly and it will sparkle white once again. fresh and clean because it also disinfects.

I got these by accident, I thought I was getting the rust and lime remover, of the same brand. However, I use this regularly, and seems to keep those stubborn stains away now. NOTE: This product will NOT remove the stains, if you already have them, but, if not, for me, seems to keep them at bay.

Use periodically to clean out the grime inside the toilet bowl (based on usage of said toilet). This stuff is easy, but requires that one have a toilet scrub brush. So get one of those first. Once you have all of your tools, carefully take off the cap. The unique shape of the bottle allows you to point the nozzle at the end of the bottle up and inside the rim of the toilet bowl. once this is pointed at the bottom of the upper rim, squeeze the bottle while rotating the bottle around the toilet. If done correctly, you'll watch the blue gel fall along the inside of the toilet bowl lining the dry portions of the toilet bowl. Once it hits water, the gel will do two things. Collect on the surface and start dissolving the grime ring at the water level %26 begin to dissolve into the water. Next put the bottle of gel away for future use and then set a 15 minute timer to let the gel dissolve grime. After waiting 15 minutes grab that toilet scrub brush and scrub down the toilet bowl. Flush the toilet 2 - 3 times while scrubbing with the brush. The result should remove all of the residual gel and if there's some grime to clean away, the toilet bowl will be noticeably cleaner. Make sure to not let grim accumulate too long as this will require multiple applications of cleaning gel. I'd recommend using at least once a month for most general use home toilets. (Commercial applications may warrant use more often). The stars asked about a scent? I don't find this gel to give off too much of any odor, whether pleasant or odious.

I have well water that is extremely full of iron/rust. Bad enough it comes out of the tap black in color from all the sediment. This is the only thing iv found that removed the orange color from EVERYTHING. Sink, shower, toilet, washer. Removes all the orange in minutes!!!!!!!!

Pro: It is a great toilet bowl cleaner - it does the job. Con: The cap is getting too hard to get off. If you have strong hands and a good grip you can get the cap off - maybe. I may end up buying a different brand next time because of this problem.

But I don't like the scent. but I figure its possibly not any other scent that will work right with this Chemical Cleaner. For those of Us who comprehend Chemistry. Bottle is perfect - ease of use. Clings thickly to Toilet Bowl. I assume it is killing %26 cleaning germs away, I don't have a Laboratory to test this to be positive.

Normally by Clorox brand bowl cleaner. But, based on customer reviews, I purchased four bottles of this product. Buying multiple bottles before trying the product was a big mistake. I consider this product to be worthless in removing water level rings from the bowl. I'll go back to using Clorox bowl cleaner.
