Nice, respectable, average quality; nothing really remarkable. High-quality standard XLR cable. But I don't think this is for you if you are a pro (the kind of person who can go to a Guitar Center and choose a free replacement at the drop of a dime) and you require ultra long distance, EMF protection. For personal usage, though, I'd buy it because of the attractive color and generally good quality of the locking end of the cable.
At this pricing, the cable (quad) is a great value. The sound quality is outstanding. This company's customer service is top-notch. By accident, they sent the wrong one to me, but once I informed them, they delivered the correct one the next day. Excellent group of people to spend time with. I'd definitely purchase it again.
For several of the scenarios in my studio setup, I required some extra length to accommodate where my mics are located. These cables haven't degraded in quality in any way that I can tell. I've already purchased it twice since I'm so pleased with it.
The LyxPro Cables are of the highest quality at an incredible value. At first, I was sceptical. If you've got a decent home studio and don't want to shell out $60 for each cable, you might want to check these out. Compared to the black Neutrik connections, these cables have superior quality and connectors that are just as excellent.
Definitely worth the money. It's not uncommon for star quad cable to cost twice as much. It worked flawlessly when I used it in the workplace. The building is built to last. They are not Neutrik but are solid. I dismantled the wire and confirmed that it is indeed a star quad cable as seen in the photo. If you're concerned, the jacket is a matte black rather than a polished one. The cable has a 6mm diameter. Despite its size, the cable is quite flexible. A simple over-under coiling procedure was all that was required to get it back to its original shape. Purchase was a success; I plan to buy it again.
IMO Although the Lyx Quad Stars are of the same high quality as the more costly and hard Mogamis, it is important to avoid kinking it. It's a great value, and it's a noticeable improvement. My experience with Lyx has always been excellent, so I'm going to assume that they are Neutrik connections, but I'm not positive.
The fact that I am not an audio expert means that there may be flaws in this cable that I am not aware of, but for my purposes it's perfect. The length from the DAC to the microphone in a desktop programmed is just right, with a high-quality sensation and sound transmission. Recommendation: 10 out of 10.
When all of the Mogami studio cables I typically use were out of stock, I bought this cable to replace them. Compared to other cables in this price range, this one performs quite well. I'm happy with it and will retain it as a back-up until I can get my hands on the prohibitively costly cable I require.
The cable is fantastic! As stated, it eliminated all noise from my studio-mounted condenser mic. I'll continue to use this brand for all of my studio cables if they continue to produce them. I'd say go for it. The best of the best when it comes to gear.
The cable I bought was supposed to be 50 feet long, but when it arrived, it was only 30 feet long. The cable's cardboard insert says "30 FT," while the sticker/stamp on the plastic bag says "50 ft." My cable is really 20 FT short. Is there anything that is ever simple?
