I purchased two of these workbenches for my stepson. A 5' bench and a 4' bench. I assembled them in my garage and they went together very well. I discovered that all the assembly bolts need to be kept somewhat loose while going through each step of the assembly. This allows the assembler to tweak the alignment of the end bolt holes in order to line up the 4 end bolts for each of the two sets of legs. Once all four of the end bolts are started, then you and crank down all the bolts and when that is finished, the leg assemblies are solid as a rock. All the pre-drilled holes do indeed line up perfectly and all the bolts do indeed fit. I'm very pleased with these workbenches and so is my stepson!

I purchased this 4-foot workbench and a matching 5-foot work bench for my stepson and assembled them both in my garage. This is a very sturdy workbench and solid as a rock. My only very slight complaint is that the adjustable legs that fit inside the attached frame have a very slight wobble because the sleeve the adjustable legs fit into is only at the very end of the attached frame. That plastic/rubber sleeve should be designed to go into the attached frame about 10 inches and that woulds eliminate the wobble entirely. Again, this is a very slight wobble and nothing to deter purchasing this unit again. All the bolt/screw holes lined up perfectly. I discovered it is best to install all the screws slightly loose and then when ALL the screws/bolts are installed, then snug them all down. This method of assembly will save time from having to loosen tight screw to be able to align all the holes easily. The bench top is beautiful butcher block. This is a very good product and I would not hesitate to purchase it again if I needed another adjustable work bench.

For me this is a very sturdy workbench for the money and was relatively easy to assemble by myself; took about a 1/2 hour. I particularly like that the legs are adjustable, and it came with power strip; however, the directions stated that it wasn't included, so I guess I lucked out. But there aren't any drilled holes to secure the strip so I may have to super glue it to the frame. All said and done I would recommend this workbench for the quality and value.

The bench is sturdy but has a few flaws. Measurements 47x23.6 not 48x24. The top has 3 spots with slight lines when panels dont connect properly (need a wood filler) also one pannel looks like it was sanded and not coated. It was easy to set up. Too heavy to return.

The table top came extremely scratched up all over the top. It’s ment as a work bench in my garage so I am keeping the item because it would be a pain to return it, upsetting that I paid what I did for a damaged item.

when we received this, the box looked fine when we opened it as were putting it together the holes for the power strip did not line up at all. the corner is damaged along with parts of the table.

The screws that attach to the table surface pulled out and will not go flush. The anchors that were preassembled into the surface pulled out. The box corner was all taped up and it was not in good condition when it arrived.

The materials are good, but the manufacturing is the worst I have seen. Bolts don't line up with their holes. Bolts won't go into the hole they are designed for. I had to enlarge bolt holes with a drill, then of course the bolt wouldn't hold. Even the small bolts on the outlet box wouldn't go through their respective holes. When I went to set it upright after assembly an entire side collapsed. Then the top came off and couldn't be reasembled. By this point I had put too much work into it to send it back. So I have strengthened both ends with steel struts and epoxy and fixed the work surface on with an expanding adhesive. See the pictures.

Horrible workbench. Not only was it late, the box was severely damaged. Even the FEDEX driver said he hates it when he has to drop off items like this. After getting box inside %26 turning it around, you could hear sand or dirt shifting inside of the box. I debated on opening it and having him take it back but on further inspection, the top has some type of residue all over it as well as scratches ( see pictures). I haven’t even attempted to see if the plugs work on this thing. I contacted the seller so we will see but I would not recommend this at all. If I get a replacement, then I might change my review.
