M. Graham Watercolor 15ml - Cadmium Red Light

I had a so-called Cerulean from Daniel Smith that was actually cobalt--a different formulation perhaps. Someone recommended Holbein's verditer blue, but I noticed that it's just cerulean plus white. So M. Graham cerulean for the win! I've tried it on its own and also mixed with some white. Love it both ways.

Lucious color. I get goosebumps when I put this color in my palette and again when I put it on paper. I will buy again and again.

Beautiful paint with slight green bias. Good for turquoise, tears, and greens with green leaning yellows like bismuth, or lemons.

Mind of watercolor reviewed these paints and these specific colors on you tube. While I have used their (graham) gouache before as a calligrapher to write with I hadn't tried their watercolors. Long story short, I like the transparency of them. The azo green I don't have. The store was out and I substituted a green gold Daniel Smith watercolor I had in my supplies. No photos to show yet. I've only painted color charts. So much fun to do.
