Nice colors and very well made
My son loved these shorts. Instead of the usual green/brown camo colors, these black and gray shorts hit the mark for him. I also bought a matching marled shirt that changes colors from black to gray. Looks great on him. They're very thick and sturdy and the belt is thick too. A little pricey and I wouldn't normally spend over $25 dollars for a pair of shorts, but it was worth it to see how happy he was to get them.

More Pros Than Cons - Good Gardening Shorts!
Great shorts! However...they are indeed heavy duty. A bit thicker and hotter than I was expecting. (These are not 'in the heat of summer' shorts). And they are high waisted. I like a looser fit, so I re-sewed the waist button. Overall, they are good, functional gardening shorts and I love the paisley print!

Tight and heavy
It's not bad shorts, but indeed heavy duty. The material is really not for warm weather, it's thick and rigid and not particularly nice to the touch. I certainly doesn't feel like cotton. The size is a bit off too: I bought a 36, I usually have some extra room with a 36 but I feel like I'm wearing a 34. Even the button was hard to close.
