Mac Miller - The Divine Feminine - Music & Performance - Vinyl

I could see how this album may not be for everyone. It's a romantic jazz rap concept album with strong themes of love, so if that's not your thing, this album may not either. To me, it sounds like a mixture of the sounds that Mac produced on his albums “Swimming,” and “Circles.” There are more hip hop sounds than Circles, and more moody, mellow, and melodic sounds than Swimming. I really enjoy the way this album flows from beginning to end. The content of the songs sticks with themes of love and sex. Some songs are more sexually explicit that most of Mac's other material. It doesn't come off as over the top; it's just something that I noticed more of on this album than most. The rest of the album continues the theme of love and it is, at times, quite sweet. I like the use of horns in multiple tracks that create a jazzy atmosphere, and I like the dreamy delivery of the lyrics. In my opinion, this is a strong addition to the catalog.

my daughter loves the album but it skips on her favorite track so we exchanged it

I ordered this twice because it was bent and damaged each time I received it. I now have to take it back both times. And will apparently have to find somewhere else to buy it. Shipping has been a nightmare and Walmart has not been very helpful in insuring I get them undamaged. Or compensating for all the trouble of receiving it twice damaged. I do not recommend ordering this for shipping. You won't be able to use it.

some of the songs dont sound right

An insane amount of skips. I don't know if it was just a bad pressing or what but it's borderline unlistenable with how every few seconds the record is messing up. I guess it's cool to have in my collection but as an actual product it's essentially worthless which is a huge disappointment as a Mac Miller fan.

They made a label to ship it and then never did, it was on that status for 2 weeks. I called to cancel and the lady was a bit rude and approved the refund. After that was initiated, they magically shipped it that same day and voided my refund. I would go elsewhere if you are hoping to get your package on a timely manner. This was supposed to be a bday gift but now I'm just stuck with it.
