I thankfully haven't had to use it, so I can only guess that it's triole formula is effective. But I like the size, it is fit for a keychain and could possibly fit somewhat comfortably in your pocket, depending on what you're wearing of course. I like how they made the flip top over the trigger push button; it will keep you from spraying yourself if you have to used it and it will keep anything from accidentally pressing it. The price was decent ($14.99) and it arrived pretty fast (had to have it shipped to the store because of regulations in NY). I originally ordered it because of these stupid clown sightings and attempted violence from them, etc.; first I got 3, 1 for me, my mom & a good friend who lives in our building...I then ordered 2 more, 1 for my sister and an extra just in case! I feel better about any us out being out walking or go ing in later at night.

This fits perfectly in my small hand, despite its large size. It is also designed so that you will not spray yourself (your finger can only insert over the spray button on the side that faces you).

Just got this and it's great that it has a clip to put on your pocket or belt, so you don't have to fish it out of a pocket when you need it.

I have order 5 of these and they are on every set of car keys for my family. Surprisingly, they feel better in the hand than both the personal and police model.

Mace makes a great little can for the money. The size in grams is on the small size as far as pepper spray goes so I’d recomend upgrading to the 18g personal defense size if that bothers you. Other than that, I’d say it’s the perfect mix for self defense, adequate amount of capsaicin and I specifically bought it because it contains tear gas as well. Only downside I can think of is the safety over the spray trigger can flip up easily because of the weak spring holding it down, so I prefer the Sabre safety over this one.
