solid ball for improving strength and skill
I purchased this for my 9 year old son. He needed to improve on strength and form and this has improved his range and wrist strength. I noticed he dribbles the ball harder during practice and is more comfortable with his drive

Worth Trying!
I use the MacGregor Heavy Ball for my pre-practice warm up(s) on an outdoor court, and for wrist-strength development. This ball has noticeably improved my shooting accuracy, as its weight quickly conditions wrist and chest muscles. You will find that switching from the MacGregor Heavy Ball to your regular practice ball is like tossing a pillow at the backboard -- but, your shooting will rely more on your fingertips than palms -- resulting in higher-arched jumpshots. The Heavy Ball is durable (3 weeks since unboxing) and the bumps, logo, and colors are still in great condition after enduring daily use. My sole reason for not scoring the Heavy Ball 5/5 is small: 1. The ball requires a quick air fill-up each time before use -- Definitely still worth it. Overall, If you're looking mix-it-up on the court or need something fun to do outside, the MacGregor Heavy Ball is worth trying. You won't regret it!
