Barbecue fried pork skins are a keto friendly snack. They taste great. Keto does not mean low calorie so be cautious if you're trying to lose weight.
man!?! they were really good!!! my only problem is, that I can't seem to find the same size bag anywhere!?! I know huh?!?
We love barbecue flavor pork skins and Mac's is the only one we have found to satisfy our tastes. Most are too hot and some lack enough barbecue flavor. Mac's are perfect for in between meals munching and even as a side with some meals. The Jumbo size is an excellent value.
Mac's BBQ Pork Rinds (ok, skins) are the BOMB! These are delish and sooooo much better than the "same thing" you get in Giant (for LESS THAN 1/6 the price!) The "same thing" (Smithfield Farms BBQ Pork Rinds) at Giant is $3 for 1.75 oz.! Not only the QUANTITY is greater but the QUALITY is better. The Smithfield brand has several of the pork fat stuck to the "aerated" pork rinds throughout the bag whereas Mac's has NONE! This is probably due to the extremely LARGE size of the package (12.25 oz) since solid fat weighs more, they probably figured out how to leave them out of the packaging process, thus keeping the package lighter. (I'm assuming that the "pork fat pieces" are similar to the un-popped popcorn.) Been buying pork rinds all my life and these are the best (nice, light, airy) and the cheapest I've ever seen! No wonder they're sold out! :(
Keith Ii ordered 3 cartons of ramen noodles and when are they supposed to arrive at my house that was shrimp flavored ramen noodles
For me it's a mistake trying this one the flavor is so addictive it's delicious I could finish the whole bag If I don't control myself.
I really like the pork rinds but I won't buy again . Doubled in price in only two weeks. Have to find cheaper one.
I love cicerones and many brands differ, but the Great Value was by far the best tasting as there is no after taste of grease as this brand has. The oil they cooked them in was not good or rancid old and leaves an after taste of grease in your mouth. Great value I've bought did not.
I love Macs pork skins , normally. I bought 2 jumbo bags of the bbq pork skins. They were thinly coated with grease, not crispy and with extra coat of salt instead of bbq flavor. It was as they were not drained after frying and the salty grease allowed to cool and coat the pork skins. I was hoping ithe issue to be only 1 bag. No such luck. Both trashed. Very Disappointed!
Soon as you opened them they Smelled FOUL, like rotten/spoiled. Then when you bit into them they were wet? Like greasy, wet %26 soggy. Chicharrones always have a certain smell to them…that's expected but these? THEY STUNK!!! It WAS AWFUL!
