This is a great entry level scooter. My son saw another boy his age with this one at the skatepark, and we went and ordered one right after. The colors are great, and it's a bit heavier than his Razor, which he likes, so he doesn't go as fast. For the price I don't think you can do better.
Bought for 9yr old son and 10 yr old daughter to ride to school. They love the colors and how well they ride. I love the quality and that they’re budget friendly. So far it’s a great scooter!
My 4 year old loves her scooter! It works great and is very durable. The handles go up and down easily and it folds down for storage. No assembly was required. The only thing I would change is that the corners are a bit sharp. Other than that, I would 100% recommend!
Great intro scooter for kids. If you're not sure whether they will be into it, this is a small investment to get them scooting. We plan to upgrade to a heavier/sturdier scooter in the future when our littles are older, but they are learning to balance and these are light enough they can carry them around themselves when folded up (less for mom to lug around!)
My grand children love their scooters. Ages 9 %26 5. I just ordered a third one just because. I've noticed they roll smooth and easily maneuvering. Also made in the USA.
I would *loosely* recommend this product for a child 6 . It would be fantastic for any kiddo about ages 2.5-5.5, or under 4'4". My 6 year old is about 4'6" tall (very tall for her age, I know). This scooter was touted as up to 5'2", but I do not see that happening at 5'2". But the price point and sturdiness are absolutely awesome, and cool colors. Just note that the height that is advertised seems overly promising.
Easy to assemble, lightweight and easy for young kids to use, just as advertised. It works well for children in the 4–6 age range and was a good fit for my child. However, the wheels started wearing out and tearing much sooner than I expected with regular use (about 5 days a week). If the scooter will only see occasional or light use, it's a decent option. For heavier or more frequent use, I would recommend investing in a more premium, durable scooter.
Purchased two for my grandchildren who are 6 and 9 years old and the size worked for them both. They folded up nicely and rode nicely except each one came apart where the handle meets the board. We duct taped it and it worked but it's like they were missing a screw or nut and bolt or something. We only needed them to use a few times a week for three weeks so it was fine but I wouldn't buy if you are looking for something that will last or work long-term.
bought this for my grandson who is five this is the most unsafe scooter I have ever seen in the first three seconds. He tripped multiple times I then went to the store and bought him a safe scooter. There are no brakes and slips from side to side. This is not meant for kids.
It was sold to me used. To be fair, I ordered it online to be delivered to my home, but I paid full price for a used item that was marked down. I think there needs to be some better standard put in place when it comes to delivery from store. It really should be common sense not to grab an item that is marked down and clearly resealed when a buyer is paying full price.
