This is another addition of greatness in the Madden series. With all new game modes, in game tutorials and trivia you and your freinds will have hours of enjoyment. At first the controls were hard to get use to but once you do, theirs nothing like it ! See you at the Madden Bowl !
I bought this for my 9 year old grandson who has just started playing football this fall. He and his friends love it, as well as when he shares it with dad. Wii game system is terrific fun for the boys.
In my opinion, this is been the first Madden game that my six-year-old can play with me. My wife and my four-year-old play this game as well. We can all be on the same team. The graphics are not the greatest, but I hate the concept of thumb clicking, speed button punching to determine the outcome of the game. Finally a football game for family. I don't play the game with the num chuck because that's too complicated for my six year old.
This is a very good product for people that have small video games or football fanatics. In this game there are many features for the wii that other systems don't have for instance "EA sports"made a special atatchment for towards younger or beginer players where they can use the wii remote only and the player moves for them. Also for the advanced players this may take a while to get used to for instance when you hike you have to throw the wii remote in the air (not literaly keep holding on) like you are giving the quarterback the ball, also when you pass the ball you actually have toswing the wii remote. The atatchments are endless so you have to find out the rest.
I've not played this game, but judging by my son and his friends reactions when they play, it is a big hit! He plays it daily and his friends even bring over their remotes to play extra players. He really enjoys this game!
This is an excellent game. Very realistic. Fun to play. The entire family loves it. And if you are new to football, you'll learn more about the game by playing.
This is a the best Madden yet. It is fun and easy once you get the hang of it. I would recomend this to anyone who is a football fan.
This was the first sports game I bought, and I like it very much! It is very accurate to actual football and I love how the Wii controls work. The music soundtrack is great and the graphics are awesome, but I expected a little more like the XBOX360 version. There are so many things to do in this game, but since I'm not a football maniac, I was confused on what to do and what to choose. This is a great game for the Pros and even includes online play (which lags a little)! For all you football fans out there, EA has a present for ya.
I've played Madden on the PlayStation and PS2 before, but it's quite a bit different on the Wii since it's geared to take advantage of the Wii controller. The controls definitely take some getting used to, but it's a lot of fun. The graphics are quite good, and the sound effects are great as well. It's best to spend some time doing some of the practice drills after you play for the first time so that you get a better feel for the controls. I wish it was priced a little lower since changes to rosters mean you'll want to buy the new versions.
I bought this version mainly for the online play which I have done on other platforms. Many glithes in the online system and controls. Kicking controls very inconsistent online or not. If you intend to play online....wait til 2009, or better yet 2010, because 2008 online is very glichty and inconsistent. If not Id say it is a good buy for $30 if that....Graphics are that of a gamecube, and it lacks MANY options other platforms have. (ex xbox 360, ps 3)
