I like that there are two buttons on a waistband that is a bit more thick than standard, it is a cute detail that differentiates these shorts from others. I wear this with a thin belt or belt-less. The legs are loose fit. Based on the location of the pockets, it does emphasize the hips a bit. Nthing some shapewear won't fix if it something you worry about. I found this to run a bit on the large size....if you are between sizes, I suggest sizing down rather than up. I wish I had. There is a lot of "give" to the material. Very forgiving style for realistic shapes... I am going back for a smaller size.

love these, the length come down to just above my knees, so I feel very modest but still stylish when wearing them. Material feels good quality. I have worn them with tucked in tee and with feminine tops (not tucked in) and love them all.

Very good quality. Nice deep pockets so things are less likely to fall out. I say they run big because they stretch out somewhat after wearing.
