Made By Me Mix & Mold Stepping Stones

This was a fun activity for the kids to do as a gift to their grandma! Highly recommend. Just wish there was more paint included in the kit. Also note for other parents, the plaster is incredibly hard so make it extra runny if you are trying to push a baby hand or foot into it.

My adult daughter made me a “plate” for my Mother's Day gift this year to add to my garden. I had one of her 5 year old hand but it broke during a move. What a priceless gift. It turned out stupendous!!

This is a great activity for kids and adults. There is enough to make 4 stepping stones and they dry super fast. I did this with my daughter when she was little and I bought this one to do with my granddaughter. She loves it. We painted hers yesterday. The paint dries fast as well. Highly recommended!!!

I am a Spark Reviewer and received this item Made By Me Stepping Stone Kit, it comes with a mold tray which is seven inches, includes gloves, paint, a brush, four bags of plaster mix to make four different molds, ten plastic colored gems, one sticker sheet which has butterflies, flowers ect. A wooden sick to stir with and directions as the box states 6+ I gave it three stars as I found some true and untrue. This is a great project for older children eight or above as I have a six year old granddaughter we tried to make her hand we have used two out of the four so far, First one I followed the directions to mix in the molding tray and it don't work as the molding tray does have the indented leaf, butterflies and stars the plaster mix didn't mix to well so then I opened another bag of the plaster mix put it in an old bowl and pored it in the tray by the time we were about to put my granddaughters hand in the mold using the amount of water in the directions it was to dry even to try to apply the stones. We will try a third time having the stones and gems right there and ready. This is not intended for a hand or foot print. This set is nice for a child to make the mold and paint and have the stones and gems right there ready to apply. I do recommend this product with adult supervision as it can be a design made and painted from your child(ren) or grand children for a lifetime to cherish. If your looking for a hand or footprint this stepping stone isn't it. Wal-Mart does carry the correct plaster mix for just that as my youngest daughter and I made one of her hand when she was three now twenty one something to always cherish. This isn't a bad set just know its not made for what most would think as it does show a hand print on the box. I've attached a picture of what all comes with the Made By Me Stepping Stone Kit

Cute idea but the plaster dried insanely quick and clumped up to the point of no return. Had to scrap it and figure something else out. Plus there's only one mold that has the dragonfly and sun on it and only enough decorative pieces for one stone. Ended up just getting some quick drying concrete, decorative pebbles and my plant saucers for about the same price for way more stones

First time using this brand. It was a mess. Followed the instructions. Tried 3 times ended up throwing all in garbage. complete waste of forty eight dollars. I have been making stepping stones for years and I've never seen a mess like this, it hardened too fast for the kids to do anything. Changed to quick crete fast setting and everything worked perfect.

I had used another brand to make a steppingstone with one of my granddaughters, so I wanted to make another one with my other granddaughter and bought this kit. The plaster dries so fast we barely had time to get the gemstones and shiny things pushed into it. It was quite disappointing. If you wanna make something really fast this is your thing. If you wanna make it how you like it this isn't your thing. I wouldn't recommend it. I'd pick one with quick dry cement in It.

Cute idea but the kit says it comes with a 3-d mold and it didn't. Had a hard time holding a hand print it is plaster not concrete which based on the name thought we could give for a gift as a stepping stone but I don't think it's durable enough.

This was a mess. The concrete mix dried faster than I could mix it. Tried it twice and with room temp/warm water it sets too fast. 1 cup of water is not enough - I kept slowly mixing more and it just kept drying. Waste of money.

Worst design EVER. I was so excited to do this with the kids till I opened it up we all put our mask on gloves and started mixing… my sons molded to his bowl and wouldn’t let him do anything with it, my daughters made it to the tin but once we flipped it it crumbled into pieces… we tried it again it made a great mess very disappointing did not work at all ..ended up in broken pieces we never ever got to paint them cause they either would not mold or broke or wouldn’t let us design them cause they dried so fast. Don’t waist your money or time
