I'm a hairstylist and I myself take my hair very serious so I'm always looking for the next best thing for me and my clients hair. This shampoo did the job I needed it to do even without a detox; just a basic wash. My boyfriend's locs were left feeling and smelling very clean. I didn't see any major drying and his scalp is dandruff prone so lots of dead skin, but this shampoo tackled it all. (I used the spray oil to style his hair as well and it worked like a charm. smells amazing and left his hair looking gooooooood)

This is the best shampoo for my locs. It smells great %26 it deep cleans my hair better than a traditional ACV soak. It has a really good lather. The price is worth it. One bottle last me 3 months.

This is an amazing clarifying shampoo that does not leave the hair feeling stripped. You get all the benefits of an apple cider vinegar cleanse without the smell you’d want to get rid of afterwards. Instead it smells like fresh apple cider. My scalp and hair love this shampoo. In fact the whole family, 5 out of 6 of us have locs, use this shampoo. I have low-porosity hair, which means my hair takes longer to get fully saturated and tends to build up products easily. This shampoo does an excellent job removing buildup and leaves my hair feeling fresh, clean, and smelling great.

My son was using a more expensive brand with a long ingredient list. Now, he's using and loving this brand.

The smell is just like apples. I don't smell the vinegar but definitely the apples. I really like this shampoo, but one thing I will mention is that you will need to condition heavily after. This shampoo strips everything! My son's hair was so dry after I washed his hair that it felt like there wasn't any moisture left in it. But it smells great and it really cleaned his hair from all the built up oils.

I really wanted to love this shampoo because of the ingredients. After one wash my hair/ scalp felt cleaned BUT the next day my scalp started itching nonstop. It continued even after oiling my scalp. The itching continued for 4 days until the point I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to RE-WASH my hair with a different shampoo. Since then NO ITCHING! Not sure if it’s one of the ingredients my scalp didn’t adhere to. But sadly I will not be purchasing again.

It causes buildup . When I wasn’t using this shampoo my husband and son dreads didn’t have buildup nor collect lent . Washing the locs was so easy! They locs got clean . now that I started using this shampoo they have a lot buildup and lent and it’s hard to wash out the hair . I don’t use products when I retwist the locs and hardly oil they locs so how is it buildup and thick residue when I use This shampoo. This shampoo is garbage !!!!! Only good thing is the smell. I had to wash with another shampoo just for all this shampoo to come out . I threw away a whole full bottle waste of money . It doesn’t detox neither soaked they hair for 30 plus minute and it made it worst!!!!!!!!! I wouldn’t suggest this shampoo at all! Just use the real apple cider and baking soda if you want a detox
