This is actually really nice. I had used some cheap projectors before and they left a lot to be desired. This looks really good. The picture is good. It wasn’t fully dark the first time I used it, then I found you need to go to the custom picture profile to make it brighter. I was able to make it plenty bright. The remote has picture settings, sound settings, and calibrate buttons specific to this device. Also full Google TV buttons. If you pick it up or move it, it will checkerboard then recalibrate. It can actually auto-detect obstacles, size, and focus. I noticed they were turned off by default. I turned them on and moved it, and it perfectly auto-set itself right over the couch and in between all the corners of the walls—perfectly by inches. I was honestly really impressed. It starts up and turns right on, then asks you to sync it to your Google Home with a QR code. This lets it sync Wi-Fi and all your account stuff from the phone. It was simple. It has a standard Google TV interface, which is by far the best streaming OS. Stremio and all the apps work perfectly. The sound is actually pretty good—for in the house, it was plenty fine. I didn’t even have an issue with it. I’m not sure if you’d want to use Bluetooth or AUX outside, but it will definitely be fine for most things. If you’re having a nighttime pool party, you might want to pop a soundbar or Bluetooth on it. It has HDMI and USB-A ports, so you can also use input options. I’m actually really surprised how good this is. I think this is a valid price point to receive a good experience. The cheap ones may not provide such a good experience. The ones I had didn’t. It shipped really fast without issue too. Also I do see why you want a backdrop screen. You can see the texture of the wall behind it. I will probably get one for better viewing but honestly in a pinch it's fine on the textured wall. I can watch it like that without even minding. This is a valid option to worth trying for sure. Like I said I am impressed. The Auto focus and detect settings are great.

This is a nice small unit. It was super easy to set up. It auto adjusts the picture. The picture is excellent. Sound was great. It does run really warm/hot and the cord is very short. Those are my only complaints so far.

Bought this projector from Walmart. The price is affordable and the quality is pretty good. It’s user friendly, you can install Netflix, youtube and other apps and watch movies or series immediately. The projector quality is good.

Great product at a great price . Upgraded from the very first model of the Magcubic smart projector . Picture is noticeably brighter than my previous model , coming in at 900 ANSI . Highly recommend !!!!

This projector is amazing! The screen size can be adjusted to be small or huge! The picture quality is amazing. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a projector!

you get what you paid for. for being one of the cheaper projections it does better than i thought it would.

Doesn't like playing videos on YouTube or movies on YouTube and has random white dots on a black screen.
