Smoothie special
I just ordered 2 more for my kids for Christmas! I love love love this ! What an easy appliance to clean store and use. Wonderful for making thickening for gravy with out lumps, smoothies, salsa, malts pureeing, chopping, mixing blending. I have had 2 now My first one I lost to a fire and it was the first appliance I replaced!

Great smoothie maker
This makes great smoothies. My grandchildren can even use it since it is very easy to use. I haven't tried anything else, but I expect it to work great for anything it is designed for. They are anxious to try milkshakes.

Works great while it works. 3mos lifespan
Bought this to make smoothies. Worked great for about 3 months. Blade gear and rubber piece completely shot after three months. This is obviously common. Found the parts to fix it on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Base-gear-and-2-rubber-gear-replacement-spare-parts-for-Magic-Bullet-/171080994662?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27d538cf66 . This particular ebay listing has sold over 400 of these replacement parts. Going to have to upgrade to a better blender.

Junk!!!
I've only had it a week and quit working...if you make smoothies as I do for breakfast, anything in it besides liquid will bog down the blending and it burns out the motor as this did!!! Not happy!! So now I'm forced to buy a better item!!!
