Great washing machine. My wife is so happy with it
My water heater died about 10 days before Christmas. The same day I got my new water heater my 2 year old $1100 LG washing machine died. This Magic Chef portable washing machine is the only thing that saved my sanity. Not to mention Walmart had it on sale. Great product. Great price. Good washing machine.
Arrived earlier than expected. It came with everything needed to get it up and running. The cap adapter worked great because I hooked it up to my sink, but it has dual water inputs if you have that hookup. It is very quiet, it does a great job. No more trips to the laundrymat and I will never fall behind in wash. Perhaps the best investment I have made in regards to my apartment.
This is perfect for my 1-person household (me) in my apartment. It requires smaller load size, but it's exactly what I need. I like this model because it has separate hot and cold water inputs, which I want because I have W/D hookups. You can, however, use this with just 1 water input, as it comes with instructions on how to do so, and a cap for the other opening.
I has purchased a similar product which was the same brand name and I know they provide good quality products so I stuck with the same brand name. The washer is running great and was even delivered ahead of schedule. Walmart is a place that I count on!
I'm surprised how big the tub is. It spins perfectly and does a great job cleaning my clothes. I am having a problem with an error code coming on a lot E3.the book says it means lids not shut, but it's closed. So I'll update when I figure out the problem
The washing machine is good—I've used it—but it doesn't wring out all the water. I can't return it because I threw away the box. I really wish it wrung out more than it does.
I bought this to replace an older MagicChef washer that was rusting in the inside. I should have kept the rusted machine as it worked so much better. This version does not agitate the clothes, meaning nothing gets cleaned. Clothes get wet and generally sit in the water without much movement for the whole cycle.
The second time I used this machine on the normal setting, it would not rinse. Followed manuals instructions at troubleshooting. It does not work. Magic chef sent a technician out, of course it worked while he was here, then it stopped working again! Walmart will not send a replacement!! They won't only do a refund and will not replace it! I am furious! I am also in a wheelchair, so trying to wrap the washing machine to send back is a nightmare. This is already a replacement machine, because the last one arrived UPSIDE DOWN and all its manuals, hoses, etc. were loose in the box. It looked like a “return”. I did not take a chance and sent it back. Unbelievable. So here I go again, having to pack up a washing machine!! I did not take it out on Customer Service, but I could also not stop crying because this is truly unbelievable. Do better Walmart!
