Magic Chef 2 Cu. Ft. Compact Portable Top-Load Washer in Silver

Wow! It's much taller and bigger than I thought it would be. I love it except for 2 things: you can only use powdered detergent (which I don't ever use, so I just pour liquid in.) Maybe I missed something, but in order to use hot or warm water, when it comes to the rinse cycle, you have to turn off the faucet, take off the hot water hose, take the attachment off, put it on the cold water hose and attach that to the faucet. Then turn the water back on. No way am I going to constantly do that! Please tell me what I missed about this part. I just use cold water now. All in all I really like the washer, and am starting to get used to the alien ship sounds it makes. Lol. It is fairly quiet, so that's good.

This machine is amazing, it does comforters and heavier clothing!!, something my smaller washing machine could not do. It is bigger than most portable washing machines and smaller than the conventional ones, it fits in my closet when I don’t need to use it and my closet isn’t very big. I also love the gray and black Aesthetic it matches my stainless steel appliances( if I do choose to leave it out) compared to my previous white machine. The machine itself has a tray to pull out to put your detergent pods and fabric softener(I usually just throw the pods or detergent in with the clothes , and there are many different wash, rinse, spin options, my clothes are dry in the matter of a few hours if I let them air dry compared to almost a whole day.

I was very pleased to receive my order within a week and I love it! The Magic Chef washer is larger than I expected and sturdy! I love the easy to use settings, I did purchase a dolly to move it to and from my sink which I recommend. Hookup to the sink and draining water to the sink is also easy. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Did alot of research regarding apartment size washers, and Magic Chef, scored high. Now dont get me wrong, hooking a washer to a kitchen sink is not my dream situation, however, neither is slugging my clothes back and forth to the laundry mat! With that being said, this machine washes really well, with no issues, leakages or vibration. Just one mention, the washer program choices give you the time option of the wash, I have found, that it actually runs longer, because I dont believe it takes into account the spin and rinse cycles. Also, there is no fabric softener dispenser, so I ordered a Downy Ball, which works as it should. All in all, I can wash my double bed size sheets all at once and will wash my Queen Quilt independently. Understand, I said Quilt, not comforter; I would take a Comforter to the laundry mat. I did not stack a dryer above because I am short and I would not be able to reach since you need at least an additional 20 inch clearance when the washing machine cover is open. I hope that this review assists anyone considering this purchase.

Following the extension of the first floor of our house, my family and I were unable to replace our broken-down washer as any option was too large to not necessitate the use of our cellar (that is obstructed from use). This machine solved that problem, and carries so much more laundry than I anticipated; I have no qualms when it comes to space. It washes very well, another concern I had prior to purchasing this product. Setup was a breeze, and the interface is very intuitive. Would purchase this product again in a heartbeat and my only regret is not doing so years ago! Don’t hesitate if you are on the fence like I was.

My only regret is that I did not buy this sooner. I totally love this washer, it's so easy to use and gets my clothes so clean. Spins so well that it doesn't take no time to dry. I also bought the magic chef dryer. Would highly recommend these to anyone out there looking for portable washers and dryers. I live in an apt without hook ups, so these are ideal!!! So easy to hook up, no more lugging clothes to the laundromat. I'm so happy with my purchase!!

This is an amazing washing machine. For about $300 the value that you're getting is unbelievable. It actually looks quite big when you get it and it's quite deep. The washing quality is really good it's high-powered. It's so easy to plug right onto the sink with the adapter that already comes with it. I love it how it has the settings for quick which takes about 25 minutes just like a laundromat would. It's very easy to use. It looks really nice. And Walmart has really good customer service.

I absolutely LOVE this little washing machine!! Delivery was on time. The box was torn up, but all the foam stuff inside the box kept it from being dented or anything. So far I’ve washed about 30 loads in it including a queen sized comforter. Very quiet and efficient. Clothes are almost dry when you take them out! I just wish the little built in transport wheels were better. Overall this little machine was way better than I expected. I would definitely recommend it

This thing is awesome! I've had it for almost a year and it still works great! I have a small apartment that required me to go outside and down to the basement next door to use the coin operated washer/dryer... no thanks! this is big enough to wash all my clothes and it even fits a queen sized comforter! LOVE IT. Definitely pair it with a portable dryer and a rack to stack the dryer above the washer.

I did 4 loads the first day and so and the functionality is *great*. Fulfillment, however was mixed: 1) It's made in China, which is always a quality concern (for some reason I thought those machines were Korean-made). 2) It was missing the bottom cover-- apparently from the factory-- which the user is supposed to install; Hopefully the manufacturer will send me one, but where's the quality control? 3) It arrived with a *big* dent in the side. Looks like it won't impact function so I'm keeping the machine, but I didn't pay for a dented up machine. This could have been avoided with better packing.
