i used this on my shoulder after rotator cuff surgery. worked great. once healed i believe it will be handy for just about any kind of issue neeing a good ice back with some size to it . can be used with or without velcro adjustable staps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice cold pack, and seems to be made very well. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. You can store it in the freezer or the refrigerator. It doesn't just have to be used for the hip area. It's big enough that you can put it behind your back and use there. We also used it for my husband‘s knee. The only thing was we couldn't get it tight enough to stay on, because obviously it is not made for something as small as a leg. It gets really stiff when you put it in the freezer, but doesn't stay cold for very long. It also doesn't really get cold enough in the refrigerator, in my opinion.

My husband has leg perthes, his one leg is shorter than the other and frequently has hip and lower back pain and this helps him relieve it at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend and I need to purchase another for both sides for him.
