Magic Mesh Magnetic Window Screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hole in a screen upstairs and this allowed me to fix it without getting a giant dangerous ladder out and trying to remove the screen from outside. It was stuck in the frame and would have been really hard to do. This product let me do the repair from the inside and I really liked this. I think you should get this if you want an easy fix to a hard problem.

It works wonderful, pretty easy to apply, I had a hard time getting it straight but that's just me. lol Screen itself is strong so bugs stay out, not sure yet if it will hold up to my cats since I've not let them in my room since I installed it.

Over all a nice look and basic for you to feel comfortable on the entire process. No mess, no tools and a very clean look. Great product and would pick up again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this I thought it would be a little easier to assemble. It works okay but is a little awkward getting the magnetic strips aligned when first installing them. I should have had someone help me that might have been a little smoother process. However I think it will suit my purpose.

DO NOT BUY. Waste of money. The magnetic tape will not stick to surfaces effectively. The seller was no help. Piece of junk!

This is a total waste of time and money. The adhesive doesn't hold to anything not even it's self so step one get a hammer and some nails cause that's the only way you will get this even half way installed. I installed this over a bathroom window while on a step ladder and it was the toughest thing I have ever attempted to install in my life! After I was finished there are gaps even after nailing it up between the screens magnetic gaskit and the frame because the self adhesive tape won't stick and hold it down so I will have to caulk it as well. So if you buy this you will need a hammer, nails, and caulk. Learned my lesson ripped it down built a real frame, screened it and put it over the window. Don't throw your money away on this gimmick! It's less than worthless.

I carefully measured my window and ordered a larger size than I would need, to be safe. Received my package late, it was too small, I paid 40$ for it to get it quicker instead of the 12$ I could have gotten away with on Amazon, and my bug problem was bad enough that I could not afford to wait longer or refund and wait for another shipment that could be wrong again. I used what was available and covered half my window instead of all of it, which is a bandaid solution for now. Will not go through Walmart or this brand again.
