Magic Palette Personal Color Mixing Guide

Clear and easy-to-follow instructions (be sure to read them first - key point is the to-be-mixed colors you see on the chart are NOT straight out of the tube but have been mixed with white, a step you must take before mixing if you are to get the mixed color shown). Results actually look like what's shown on the chart!

As an artist still learning about color theory, this guide helps me so much - to choose my color palettes and memorize color combinations. I'm glad I chose the small color mixing guide for my tiny personal studio; the large one is probably great in bigger studios and classrooms.

If like me you're just starting out and/or just seem to find it difficult to know what shades go with what to make other shades, you need this. I call it my cheat sheet LOL, because it totally is. It's a good size for a smaller working area and is nicely portable. I may not have all the colors yet but glad I have this nonetheless, plus I now know which ones to get to make what colors I want. Brilliant. It's laminated so will last awhile too.

It's hanging above my desk where I paint. It's a handy guide.

I'm using this along with the other mixing guide wheels to help me understand color mixing in watercolors, acrylics and oils and this is working especially well.

This is a great reference tool when mixing your oils. The larger chart makes a good springboard when you can't get your color mix just right on your own. I love it.

Good guide for mixing color, but I need more color mixings

This was disappointing! This is just a thin piece of paper. 14.00 For a dented flimsy piece of paper .Ripped when I opened it! Walmart was great..they refunded my money.
