Maple waffle reminds me so much when I was a kid….my Mom always made homemade waffles frequently complete with maple syrup. A culinary delight as a breakfast item! So it turns out that Magic Spoon maple waffle flavor has become another one of my favorites as well. No surprise there! Love the flavor… a winner in my book!
I have bought several “low carb†cereals and most of them taste like your licking sandpaper, so I had low expectations. Holy sweet cereal Gods!! This stuff is amazing!!! I literally had to hide it from my husband and kids!! Thank you thank you THANK YOU!! For making this !!!
Definitely our favorite of all the MS flavors. It's just like eating teddy's waffles smothered in male syrup. Only complaint is that since we both live it so much, the box is empty after two sittings. Make it 10ozs. For what you charge per box, this shouldn't be a problem.
I was skepticle trying Maple Waffle. The first few bites where weird since you don't really expect the flavor, but after a few bites I loved it. It has got more sweetness to it than other flavors, it still is a very well balanced blend of flavors. I order it every time I buy a variety pack now and it is the one that's eaten up first. Can only recommend it.
This was my first time trying Magic Spoon. I got 4 boxes of diff flavors. I tried this one first and initially, it took a min to get used to the flavor. I'm used to cereals being filled with sugar and/or unnecessary added sugars, that's what my pallet was familiar with. I was actually scared to read the ingredients because I DID NOT want to see that there was fake sweetners such as sucrulose, aspartame, etc in it to make it sugar free. I was pleasantly surprised that it was Monk Fruit and some other NATURAL sugars. I will DEFINITELY keep this in my monthly order.
This cereal is really good. It isn't my favorite flavor. I would definitely pick cocoa or cinnamon before this one, but it's still really good. I like it a lot better than the peanut butter or fruity flavors. Magic Spoon cereals are all pretty amazing, though, and if you like maple a lot you will like this cereal.
It tastes pretty good. There is definitly an after taste that they all have in common. I dont know what it is I know it is there. But it doesn't ruin the taste of the cereal it is just something to get used to. I love that it is a healthier option for snacking on the go. Or even a healthier treat snack as I love to snack on cereal!
As with all Magic Spoon cereals this is a great grain alternative, and tastes like a "real" cereal. This flavor was a bit disappointing, however. When I open the plastic inner package a wonderful maple scent comes wafting out, making me think "oh, this will be a treat!" Unfortunately, the smell is all there is - no deep maple flavor on the tongue. And it wasn't just the first bowl - each time I pulled the box out and poured out another bowl, I loved the smell but found the taste disappointing. I'll be having other flavors in the future.
I have never given a MS product less than 4 stars. This may be an anomaly-but I am concerned. I am sensitive to artificial flavor enhancers. I love maple, but as soon as I opened the bag my "spidey sense" detected chemicals. Take with a grain of salt, it might just be my heightened sense of smell/taste. I know your products are all-natural, but if there is any type of chemical (artificial) flavor, I'm staying away from that one. I wish I had the money to try all the flavors, but I cant afford tossing a box I dont care for, so I very much appreciate the "test" box. And I still love many of your products and grateful that they support Keto. Carry on! I'm so glad to see the new youtube commercials!! It's fun to see you growing and I'm happy to be a part of that support!
Of all the Magic Spoon varieties I've tried so far, this one is my favorite. It tastes very close to the 90s cereal whose flavor profile they're copying. However, like all Magic Spoon cereals this one's flavor is muted, as if it's on a leash; there's something holding it back. Additionally, it's not very sweet without added Sucralose or Splenda or other sweetener. Finally, the worst thing about it is that it hurts my mouth to eat it. It cuts up my gums and tongue and cheeks and palate. You see, to achieve the grain-free recipe they use tapioca flour for crisp, and the way they cook it leaves sharp edges on the cereal. The result is doubly terrible because it doesn't even make the cereal crispy, just painful. The texture is a bit like paper pulp stuffed with slivers of ground glass and fried. My mouth bleeds after every bite.
