It has a liner to put inside but it does not cover. The sand comes out from under the liner. The top does not fit and it does not protect the rain from getting inside and weting the sand. When it rains the cover falls in the sandbox and floods the cover with lots of water.
There is no actual bottom. Just black tarp like material…. And the cover doesn’t protect from rain. This is what we’re dealing with now….see pics….fortunately it didn’t damage our deck yet. But it would’ve for sure eventually. This will last for one year max. After one year the wood is not in great shape either. But wood would hold up maybe 2 years. If you could figure out a way to put wood or concrete down under it would be ok.
